Our radio station used Gaslight Media for our Internet IP address and carrier for our internet. We had connectivity troubles in 2016 and cut them off, starting to use cellular service. Our engineer did the research and found out: "It appears the last documentation on the service side of this was back in January of 2016, **when a ticket was put in for a connectivity issue**. I doubt it's been used since them, hopefully they can refund payments that were made." Their technical rep told us, "My historical traffic data only goes back a few months. I cannot see when there was significant traffic on this link." We had a number of IP addresses at the Gaslight Media site. Our engineer replied to their rep: "...However, after looking this over, it appears that we are not using any of these IP addresses in Harbor Springs. Could you have possibly gotten us mixed up with another broadcaster at this site? We are using cellular service with a Craddlepoint router at this site. Can you verify that our Radio Network is paying for services at this site? And if so, can you check when the last time it had any activity on this drop?" Instead of auditing the historical outage and following up on the ticket that was put in for connectivity issue...no traffic went over their site after that... they just took our money for three and a half years, never even checking their end for any issues. We are so disappointed with the decision of management to allow us to take the $5,000 loss with no apology or reimbursement at all. I would NOT recommend them to any business for anything.
