Hmm. This was one of my worst gas station experiences. I mean...I *am* taking the time to write a review for a gas station, after all. On my way down to a new job and new home in Houston, I left my friend's place in small-town Texas and headed south. I figured gas would be cheaper on the highway than there, so proceeded. Bad choice. Gas at this station was 20 cents more expensive, I believe, and I had some trouble at the pump. The gas was taking forever to fill...the shop attendant came out and said they were running low and I could use another gasoline if I wanted things to be faster. Well, yes, I could pay even more on super-fuel, but I'll wait. While waiting I noticed a sign that said to watch the nozzle since fuel can overfill. I wondered to myself if I had seen such a sign before. Probably not, as as I was standing there next to my car, sure enough, gasoline came spilling out onto the ground. Fun stuff. I do believe the receipt paper was stocked at the pump, so that was a plus, but once I had that, I said "good riddance," and off I went.
Okay, so I'm being dramatic, but it was an overall annoying experience :/ read more
