I'll be honest, I like to go to self-serve, pay at the pump and get out. Here you do need to go into the store but they make it as efficient as possible. They are so busy that they have you pump your gas then move your car ahead before going into the store to pay. They ask that you let them know how much you owe them when you get into the store. This allows others to pump their gas. It is a Fabian gas station. During the increase in gas prices recently, Charleen's prices were ALWAYS lower than anywhere around. The prices were not just a little but a lot (30-50 cents a gallon) lower. They want to give the savings back to the community. There were times when the gas was $4.50 gallon at other stations and I don't think it ever went over $3.90 here. Let me tell you, the owners are awesome. They are friendly and inviting. They love dogs and are fine if you want to bring them into the store. They offer a variety of sundry items, beer, milk and even local baked goods. It is hard to rave about a gas station but if I am going to, it is absolutely going to be about Charleen's. This store/gas station and the people who own it are the best!

All kinds of cool breakfast stuff, some traditional like several varieties on bacon and egg and toast and other rather uncommon things like breakfast burritos and even something call breakfast pizza. They also have some absolutely gigantic freshly baked cinnamon rolls that smell fantastic and of course the ubiquitous Maine blueberry pancakes. But there is a lot more here than just breakfast. All kinds of pizzas are served throughout the day as well as various sandwiches, fried chicken, burger type things and sea bugs like shrimp, scallops and of course some great lobster rolls. In fact they even have live lobsters and crabs that they will cook for you or you can take them home and kill them yourself. Just an amazing amount of different foods prepared so many different ways. You or course can fill up with gas for your vehicle or get caught up on the latest local gossip too. Not a whole lot of stores around here so they make the best of what they have. What used to be Pike's Corner with a Rusty Lantern inside is now a completely upgraded, modern gas station and convenience store with everything you could need. The food selection is top-notch, with a great variety of hot foods that you can conveniently order through their app. Their coffee club is a fantastic deal, and they even have self-checkout for quick and easy stops. One thing that really stood out to me is their selection of lactose-free grocery items--a rare find in most convenience stores! To top it all off, the staff is incredibly friendly and always welcoming. Whether you're stopping for gas, a quick snack, or a made-to-order meal, this place is a winner. All I asked for was to fill up my cup from a sink and pay the price I would for a soda anywhere else and was treated like the scum of the earth. The last time I went to the Livermore location I mentioned that I hope they wouldn't sink to the levels of the other two location I have been in Sabbatus and Brunswick. Well they have. Called ordered a pizza for pick up with other items. Was told they could no longer take CC over phone. Fine I can deal with that. My friend got there to pick up and it was not ready (25-30 min ) was told they did not have the Alfredo sauce . Claimed to have tried calling me several times. Phone was right beside me all the time and no calls came. Third Rusty Lantern location, third messed up service and food. Foupt this will stay here since not the correct location but I had to rant.
