Thank you so much for telling me that I needed to call someone else, it worked out for the best for me. Called another company, they came out the next day, and had the problem diagnosed in less than 10 minutes. Turns out that split units have and indoor and outdoor units, who knew?!? Apparently not Penn and Son because they never checked the outside unit and that's where the problem was. Telling customers to go somewhere else isn't good business.

They did a tear off and re-roof in 1 1/2 days on my house but made sure before they left both times the area was cleaned up and all nails were out of the drive as well as the yard. They did a great job roofing as well as cleanup, and were very polite. I would highly recommend them to my best of friends. They didn't "find" a lot of problems that cost a lot extra to fix. I had one board that was bad and they used my lumber that I had in the garage and replaced that piece and didn't charge me to do it. My wife says I'm too picky for details sometime and maybe she's right, but when I pay for a professional job I expect one. They did just that and gave me a great looking roof again.

5 Stars - Outstanding Service and a Great Guy!…read more Karl was fantastic from start to finish. He responded to my inquiry right away and was able to help me haul off an appliance the very same day. He showed up exactly when he said he would, handled everything quickly and professionally, and was incredibly kind throughout the process. It's rare to come across someone who's not only efficient and dependable but also just a genuinely good person. Highly recommend Karl if you need help--he's the real deal!

I would warn elderly people to be cautious when dealing with Andrus. I do agree they did an…read moreefficient job performing the work for my parents; the only issue was the dirt was not leveled out so there's a large hump in the yard which will require hiring someone to level properly. However the primary concern was regarding Mary who was responsible for invoicing. During one phone call Mary was pleasant with my elderly mother and said she would email an invoice. Mary then called back a few minutes later and she sounded like a different person. She proceeded to react as if she were speaking with a criminal and my elderly mother is certainly not a criminal. Mary was in an agitated state and her language was very disrespectful, the only reason we can fathom is because my mother was not able to get to the office and pay immediately, rather she wanted to come in the next day (this was six business days after the work was performed). Mary then stated, contrary to her previous statement, that she would not provide an invoice for services rendered until after payment was made. My parents are the customers and there was no reason for Mary to have been so disrespectful; I actually had to intervene on the phone call to try to calm her down. My parents have had quite a bit of other work done in the past few months to include HVAC, termite treatment, and having vapor sheeting laid in the crawl space, and all the other services provided an invoice before expecting payment. I have lived in this area for several years and never had any service provider require payment prior to receiving an invoice, and I never imagined someone would be that hostile towards a customer. I hope that Mary finds it in her heart to apologize to my mother who is a good paying customer. If that were to occur I would be happy to change this review. (Please note, Mary and Shane came to my parents' house later the same day after my father had returned home and payment was made in full; a 3.7% fee was added due to credit card payment. Mary was pleasant during that transaction. I can only assume that some of their customers have not paid, but that is no excuse for being disrespectful towards a new customer.)

I knew where the leak was because I attempted to fix it myself before I ever called anyone. The first day they came out with just a snake, no hydro cleaning or camera (even though they specifically list that they have a camera on their website) and after they "fixed it" after snaking it twice, digging a large hole in my yard that they did not need to do, the leak came back that night even worse and backed up into the whole house. They came back a second time the next day, with the exact same snake, and did the exact same thing and must have barely broke through enough for it to drain for a couple days because that is all it took and the backup started again.
