The gas was cheap and we had some great munchies and they had a great deal on some candy. I am including a picture of something that needs fixed in the bathroom. But the rest of the bathroom was fine. Just something that looks like it's been out of service for a while. There was only one cashier open and then a line of people formed and immediately two other team members came out and opened two more registers. I thought that was great to keep us moving. The gas prices here are unbelievably expensive compared to other stations in the area. On top of that, they don't allow customers to use the restroom, which is ridiculous for a place where people are stopping during long drives. The staff were extremely rude, unhelpful, and made the entire experience very uncomfortable. Communication was nearly impossible since they didn't seem to speak English, and instead of trying to assist, they acted dismissively. You don't really expect a truck stop in the middle of nowhere out here on the highway, I-77 that is, south of 70, and I guess most don't, as very few people use it for this reason. So this particular truck stop is usually pretty quiet and it's definitely more geared towards truckers than travelers, because that's who uses this road. I'm glad it's here and it helps, even though it's a chain truck stop. So all in all, this is a good truck stop in the middle of nowhere where you wouldn't really expect a truck stop.
