(1 out of 5 stars) I had one of the worst experiences at the Sunoco Fairdale Mini Mart in Cambridge, Ohio. The gas prices here are unbelievably expensive compared to other stations in the area. On top of that, they don't allow customers to use the restroom, which is ridiculous for a place where people are stopping during long drives. The staff were extremely rude, unhelpful, and made the entire experience very uncomfortable. Communication was nearly impossible since they didn't seem to speak English, and instead of trying to assist, they acted dismissively. If you're passing through Cambridge, I highly recommend skipping this Sunoco and going somewhere else. Save your money, your time, and your patience. --- read more

would never use this gas station if it was the last one left in America. the cashier was such an asshole. I was washing my windshield and headlights (covered in bugs from a cross country roadtrip) and she came out screaming at me "HUN!!!! that is NOT to wash your car. that was a brand new scrubber and now no one else can use it so go ahead and hand it to me so I can throw it away!!!!!" I handed it to her but I wish I threw it at her. i waited there for a minute to find another gas station to get food and use the restroom, and she never came out to replaced the scrubber and squeegee. after hearing her talk I'm sure she went and put it right back after I gave it to her. girl probably needs to be put in rehab for drugs. read more

I give this minimart zero stars. No services, not hospitable. I won't stop here again. When asking about a bathroom the response was I should get back in my car and drive back to where I came from. read more

Filled up with gas, went in to pee. "No public restrooms"!" Why did we stop here? Don't make the same mistake.

We like Sunoco gas, but it is absolutely ridiculous that this place does not have a public bathroom.

Staff at this place are rude and this appears to be the only roadside gas station in America that doesn't offer a public restroom. Needed gas and the sign from the highway said it had diesel. My 15 year old son had been waiting an hour to use the bathroom. No public restroom. He went into the tree area behind it. Some older lady came outside and is on the phone reading my license plate into the phone. She asks if that's my son. You couldn't see him where she was gesturing. I said my son is with me. She said she just called the police on him and they're on their way. I said ok. She said they own that property and you can't pee wherever you want. I said ok. She said I don't know how you do it where you come from in Maryland (where our plates are from). I said it's not. And she says oh so you think it's ok. And I told her I hadn't said that or anything else. Then my son returned and I told him I hadn't been able to get the pump to work yet. She tells me that's because you're using diesel pump. I said my car is diesel. And then I remembered this isn't the only gas station that sells diesel and left. She's obnoxious and based on the other yelp reviews apparently obsessed with where other people urinate. Does she yell at people with dogs? If not, maybe it's an untapped market of urine that could help her find more people to waste police time on. read more

One star is definitely too much for this place. We only stopped because my 3 year old (who is potty training) really had to use the bathroom. We walked up and saw the sign posted on the door "no public restroom". So I turned around, I didnt even enter the building. Went back to our van and started to let my daughter use the travel potty we had. The clerk followed me out to my car, first walking around the front. She saw me blocking her view of my daughter sitting on our travel potty, so she tried to come around the back of my vehicle. My husband then got out and asked her to leave us alone. She was really nasty and told me i "better not let my child use the bathroom on their ground." i told her that we had a travel potty and asked her to leave. She said we better not dump it out in the grass. We told her to stop harassing us and she said she would call the cops. She went back inside only to come back out with her phone and either pretend she was calling the cops, or did call them. She took our license plate number down and everything else, all while my daughter was in our vehicle, on our own travel potty, and tried multiple times to look into our vehicle. This place has sold over and over. Now it's so bad I don't know how it is still open. Dirty. The people working there are beyond rude. The gas prices are always at least 10 cents more a gallon if not more. Food and drink? Don't even bother looking. Even if you decide to pay the price that is triple the normal price the food will be expired. No joke. We've gone for overpriced milk and it was days past date and they didn't care. It's obvious the owner does the bare minimum for the bottom line. read more
