This is the…read moredental practice where you can go in, get your teeth cleaned or a cavity filled and actually fall asleep in the dental chair. I know because I've done it. They are that gentle. Dr. Tom seems to have the latest dental technology that can really help catch cavities early. He has a new x-ray machine that makes x-rays a lot more comfortable than those old bite wings. Another technology he has used that really benefited me was the ability to avoid using a crown in certain situations. A few years ago, I had a cavity in a tooth right next to where I previously had a silver filling from long ago. He really needed to drill a lot to get the filling out and to repair that new cavity. This is the type of thing that normally he would need to use a crown. However Dr. Tom explained to me that he had a machine where he could essentially make a 3d puzzle piece for the hole and put it in if I had a little extra time. We could do it in one visit instead of two and it was actually less expensive than a traditional crown. I agreed and have had no issues with his solution. I went in yesterday for a cavity repair and received exactly the same treatment as in the past. I didn't even feel the needle with the numbing medicine. They use a topical to make you comfortable. The staff also make sure to tell you what to expect before they do it. Everyone is friendly and genuinely interested in you and your dental health. They are located near Wolf Circle and very close to a bus and train station. There is ample street and lot parking near the office.

During my treatment, decisions were made that I believe negatively affected my teeth and resulted in significant problems that I had not experienced beforehand. When I raised my concerns and asked for an explanation, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. The front desk when asked didn't know what time the hygienist was going to arrive. The front desk should have called me at home or on my cell phone, and informed me about the wait, or rescheduled me, but they informed me when I arrived. The dentist or other staff didn't even try to do the cleaning while I was waiting. The front desk didn't try to fit me in for rescheduling due to their mistake (it was going to be a two month wait for another appointment time). I just left. I have had some long wait times in this office the past few years. I have had some other bad experiences with other employees at this dental office the past few years too. I have been a patient for about 6 years. It seems like the past two years a lot of staff turnover has happened. The sad part is I like the dentists, and the dentists that work here and own the company are very skilled and you get good quality for dental work for what they do.

If you go for a service, you will have to make a full payment up front and then later they will process you claim to insurance. They are not sure if you will get a refund back. They will not tell you if whether your insurance covers the service. They do not care if you get your money back from the insurance they just want to be safe by taking the money from you. I am 21 and a student, and I pay for this out of my pocket. I had to pay 200 dollars just for checking if i need a root canal or not. The insurance company tells me that they do not cover that because they did something different. Really very disappointed with the team.
