Dr. Bartusiak is only a DENTIST not a BRAIN surgeon. It really is criminal and insulting to charge a patient $200 for their first missed visit. Then drop the fee to $100. No posting of such a thing anywhere in his office to let you know this. But, no problem if they reschedule your visits. When I was going here several of my appointments were changed by their office. It was a habit with their scheduling. I needed to change one and they demand a 50.00 fee. Needless to say that's ridiculous but , policies stick there and if you call to reschedule,,, they tell you to go somewhere else. Someday they will drive everyone off and close. I've been going to Dr Bartusiak for several years and have followed him to his new office. He's kind, very thorough, explains everything in detail and makes sure you're as comfortable as can be. I used to have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist but not any more. Ewelina is a great hygienist, I've had her a few times now. This office is bright, extremely clean, modern with TVs everywhere including in the rooms (a nice distraction) and appointments are timely which helps since I work full time and live in the city. Your X-rays are displayed via iPad to the TV In your room so you can see everything clearly. Every staff person is extremely welcoming and friendly from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave. This is the best doc, staff and office I've experienced. read more

I am genuinely grateful for the doctor Bartusiak's compassion, professionalism, and expertise. He agreed to help me the same day I called, after an unsuccessful trial of a tooth removal at the other dental facility. The extraction took him around 15 minutes while the other dentist manipulated with my tooth for an hour and a half, leaving me with bleeding gums, pain, and a referral to the oral surgery clinic. Extremely rude receptionists . They hang up without saying goodbye. No manners and extremely cocky especially if your Polish . They also spew Polish while your getting work done . Extremely rude . Many dentists out there I don't need a rude office to deal with none out of ten times they're rude. Work is decent but not worth being treated badly. read more

Words cant describe how happy I am that I found Dr. Bartusiak. I had a major gap in my front teeth. I have been at other dentists and they all have pushed me towards veneers. It always seemed like they were out to make the most money possible and my best interest wasn't really in mind. A friend recommended Dr Bartusiak. Within 5 minutes he told me that veneers were not going to be a good option because the teeth would be too wide and it would not look good. He recommended Invisalign. It felt like his priority was to make sure I get the best solution possible. I ended up going that route. Fast forward 1.5 years my Invisalign finished and my teeth were straight. Now that they were closer together I could do veneers and have a perfect smile. He sat me in the chair and said let me try something first. He touched up the corners of the teeth and they were PERFECT! I saved $8000! I cant believe how honest and caring Dr. Bartusiak is. The office is very clean and the staff is very nice. Excellent! Ever since our family dentist past away we tried out other dentists hoping we can meet someone who provides the same level of care for his patients. At LUX dental we have found our new family dentist with Dr.Murdza. I had some procedures done, and Dr. Murdza took the time to explain what Was going on, what is he about to do,etc. He even tells you if you really need it done or if it can wait. I'm not too keen getting my teeth done but with LUX dental I feel very at ease and well taken cared for. read more

My dentist of 30 yrs retired. I felt great anxiety in finding another because I always feared dentists. I found an excellent dentist, Dr. Bartusiak of Lux Dental in Mount Prospect. He immediately understood my anxiety, and put me at ease. I had an abscess; I was so scared. I needed a root canal (I almost fainted at the thought). Dr. Bartusiak explained the procedure; answered any questions. He assured me it would be fine. I felt zero pain. I couldn't believe the root canal was done and it was a breeze. Next, I needed a crown. When I walked in for my crown appt, I knew I was in the best of hands. Crown is done. I am literally all smiles. Lux Dental hygienists are superb. Their office is high-tech and very welcoming. Doctor's staff is exceptional. My next appt. is in 6 months, and for the first time in my life, I am not fearful. Thank you, Dr. Bartusiak and staff.
