I was told this was necessary because the employee who booked my appointment had been terminated, and there was no documentation in my chart. I clearly explained at that time why I was seeking care and specifically asked the receptionist to verify my insurance eligibility to ensure I could see the physician. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that it had been scheduled incorrectly. After waiting approximately 20 minutes, I was told I needed to contact my insurance company to obtain my physical insurance card information. While I was on the phone with my insurance provider, the doctor briefly came to the front desk area. At the time, it appeared to be a casual interaction with staff, but given the circumstances, it seemed possible she had been informed that my insurance information had not been properly collected by the former receptionist. Once I provided the required insurance details, I was finally taken to an exam room by a medical assistant. As I sat down, the staff member commented that the doctor was not friendly and could be rude and abrupt. My blood pressure was taken and measured at 140/103, which is elevated. The assistant stated she would not inform the doctor and would instead retake it because she did not want to "go there" with her. When retaken, I was told it was still high. The staff member asked additional questions and mentioned I would see her again after the doctor completed the examination. However, just two minutes later, she returned to inform me that the doctor had left and would not be seeing me that day. I was asked if I would like to reschedule. Although I remained composed and declined, I left the office in tears, feeling defeated and deeply disappointed. It is difficult to understand how someone seeking medical care could be treated in this manner. I will be contacting patient relations, and I felt it was important to share this experience here as well.

When he arrived, even basic amenities like water were not available. During the PRP procedure, Dr. Benjamin attempted multiple times to draw blood from his left arm but could not find a vein, which was uncomfortable. Blood was eventually taken from the other arm. The injection itself was done with such strong pressure that my husband nearly blacked out from the pain. Most concerning, the doctor did not clearly explain what he was doing or what to expect during the procedure. For comparison, my husband had the same tennis elbow issue a few years ago and saw a different doctor. That experience was completely different -- the doctor was caring, explained everything thoroughly, and the procedure was performed with minimal discomfort. Since this visit, my husband has been in significant pain. I have called the office multiple times seeking guidance, but no one has returned my calls. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable trusting this doctor even with something as simple as changing a tire on my car.

I had requested referrals for dermatology, pain control and neurology. A referral was sent and approved for dermatology, however it had wrong information on it and the dermatology office had been trying to get in contact with them for 2 weeks with no response! On the day of my dermatology appointment I was informed that I would have to pay cash for the appointment unless there was a corrected referral (now mind you I've had severe all over body itching for going on two years so every delay is horrible for me!), I call "doctor" Sein's office and the staff told me they already sent the corrected referral (ABSOLUTE LIE!) as I had just gotten off the phone with the dermatology office. I didn't find out until over two months later that "doctor" Sein told my insurance that I had diabetes. I have NEVER in my life been diagnosed with diabetes! I wrote an email telling of her incompetence and that her staff were liars and that I was not going back there. "Doctor" Sein sent me a letter that she will no longer be my PCP and that I was unprofessional. VERY laughable as I had long since gone to a new PCP and I wouldn't go back to her if my very life depended upon it! Her calling me unprofessional HA! as a doctor she should know how to diagnose diabetes. When I called this office and politely asked the MA for their name, I was met with attitude and a snarky "How may I help you?" simply for asking a basic question - he tone and unprofessionalism were what stood out. Upon further review, this doesn't appear to be an isolated incident--this type of attitude seems to be commonplace at this office. If multiple staff are responding this way, it suggests a larger issue with office stress levels, training, and customer service. Patients and caregivers deserve courtesy, transparency, and respect, not pushback for asking standard, reasonable questions.
