So I can say from experience, that the quality of the injector makes a huge difference. You definitely get what you pay for. Having a wide face has always been a complex of mine, and the masseter botox made my face slimmer, more proportional, and just snatched my face. I wanted results that are noticeable, but natural and that's exactly what I got. I highly recommend Dr Hess and his clinic, and I would never trust any one else with my face again.

He was very down to earth and knowledgeable, took his time answering my questions and made sure we were going with the right surgical choices. As soon as I had the consultation I knew he was the right surgeon for me. Since having my procedure I have been very pleased with the symmetry of my breasts and overall appearance. I'm able to do all of my upper body exercises and my new breasts suit my frame very well. He was able to go off my inspiration photos and created a very similar result. Dr. Hess is not only a surgeon but an artist of his craft- he pays close attention to detail and is a perfectionist. His standard of care is unparalleled. I couldn't have asked for a better final result and a year later everything is going smoothly. I did miss my last follow up with him but I hope this review serves as a statement of confidence and satisfaction from a happy patient. For future surgical procedures I would feel very safe in his hands.

I scheduled a consultation based on the transparent pricing on their website, and my conversation with Dr. Tergari put me fully at ease. The sedation was plenty for me to feel comfortable during the operation, and the team was engaging and professional throughout the process. Post-op guidance and follow-up was thorough, and I never felt like Dr. Tergari was trying to sell me on additional procedures. This was my first aesthetic procedure in San Diego, and I'd absolutely go back to Avalon for anything else I choose to do in the future!

I went to Avalon lipo a year ago when I was 21, feeling very insecure about my thighs. I've always…read morehad muscular thighs from years of sports, and there wasn't much fat, but Dr. Tigari assured me it would be easy to do inner thigh liposuction. He was confident it would help, and I trusted his reputation and the glowing reviews. The cost was $5,000, and he encouraged me to use Care Credit, saying there would be no interest. I decided to go for it, believing it would improve my confidence. On the day of surgery, I was told I'd be unconscious and wouldn't feel a thing. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Although they gave me anesthesia, I was definitely awake. I felt out of it but aware enough to feel the pain during the surgery. When I told Dr. Tigari I could feel it, his response was, "I thought you were stronger than this." I was horrified, but there was no turning back. I spent the entire surgery squeezing the nurse's hand for comfort (bless her for being so kind). To make matters worse, I could hear Dr. Tigari and the nurses casually chatting during the procedure, asking me questions like who my favorite singer was and why I didn't attend their concert. I was conscious enough to have a conversation while they were performing liposuction. The whole experience was traumatizing, and I would never go through it again. The recovery was extremely painful, but even after healing, I noticed lumps, indents, and no real improvement in the size of my thighs. Six months post-op, I reached out to Dr. Tigari about my concerns, and his response was that results were "never guaranteed" and that my thighs "looked fine." They did offer some follow-up services to address the lumps, which helped slightly, but my scars are still visible despite two separate scar-removal treatments. To make matters worse, I discovered that the Care Credit plan wasn't interest-free as promised. My boyfriend realized the interest rate had skyrocketed, and I would have been paying off this procedure for the rest of my life if he hadn't stepped in and paid the remaining $4,000. Overall, this experience has scarred me for life physically, emotionally, and financially. If I'm paying $5,000 for a procedure, I expect results I'm happy with, not indents, lumps, and scars. I wish I had never gone through with this surgery and will never consider liposuction again.

They kinda grossed me out. My primary doctor (not a MedDerm person) put in an order to have a big one removed but insurance rejected it. So, I opted to be a cash-pay client at MedDerm and with just a quick visit, I was all skin-tag free and smiling. Btw, I am a big baby when it comes to medical stuff. I don't like needles, scalpels, surgical saws, or any of the stuff which comes out of an autoclave. And, seeing white-coated folks brings on new levels of anxiety and sweat stains. But, Ashley kept me chatting during the whole 5 minute procedure and my mind off the reason I was there. Overall an A+ experience... not one I want to do regularly but not nearly as terrifying as I had anticipated. I'll be going back to Ashley and MedDerm for my skin care when needed. Painless, very efficient, and super-affordable!

After encounters with two different providers, I have cancelled all future visits for the sake of my health. I was initially prescribed multiple regimens that only made my condition worse. When I was unable to see the doctor for two months, I saw a Nurse Practitioner who proceeded to prescribe medications I am explicitly allergic to. Even after I reiterated several times that I could not take them, she refused to provide alternatives. Ignoring a known allergy is dangerous and negligent. At the end of my visit, I requested a standard 'After Visit' paper with written directions for my medical care. I was told 'that's not how they do things.' Refusing to provide a patient with written instructions for their health--especially while dealing with infections and medications--is completely unprofessional. Furthermore, they do not validate parking. It is sad that nearby coffee shops and sushi restaurants offer validation, yet a medical facility receiving referrals refuses to cover the cost for its patients. I will not be returning. If you value clear communication, clinical accuracy, and basic patient safety, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Oh and I know her time so much more valuable than mine, because then I'm waiting a half hour in her office just to be seen for under 2 minutes..only to find out that she's unable to help me with my concerns..and I had to choose "only one concern...." her nurse said. Her staff is actually very nice. One of them said, "I'm sorry I'm just the messager" It's pretty ridiculous that patients get treated this way. I walked out of her office mid appointment so upset...she basically doesn't care.. No one deserves to be treated this way and every single time I've come here I am extremely rushed, like no joke, 2 minutes. I got diagnosed with pah from CoolSculpting, and adverse reaction where the fat actually grows instead of dies. I suffered for almost a year until I got surgery. Before surgery Dr Lisa told me she had the same experience with pah on her back, they do CoolSculpting at their office too, but she said she wouldn't do it on anyone because of her experience! It's now been 4 months since I have have had surgery (amazing doc in Maui )and I was excited to tell her about my recovery and had a few questions with healing, but she has NO time to listen, care for, or educate her patients. You would think that someone that has gone through this would have an drop of empathy in their heart for someone that has suffered for almost a year with fat growing on there face even?! Like women to women...wtf? What's wrong with people? It's really unfortunate there are doctors out here that are "caring" for their patients.

Fortunately for me Dr G's office is not far for me so I decided to go do a casual consultation. I was so impressed with how engaged he was in educating me on eye Anatomy and the physiology of eye aging. There was no Hard Sell. The cost of his procedure was comparable to Mexican prices which was shocking. I couldn't help myself but to put a deposit down. I was so excited. The day of my surgery went well. Everyone has jitters but Dr G and the staff were extremely professional and reassuring. There was no pain. I'm not going to say the healing process was fun. There was a lot of bruising. Moderate pain. I did have a temporal headache every single day for about a month which was a bit frustrating. I was a little nervous with some upper eyelid issues that appear to be drooping to me but was nothing more than inflammation. I mean come on it was eye surgery there's bound to be inflammation. I remember calling Alex and she put me at ease saying it's part of the healing process. I tend to be impatient. I did, upon her recommendation do hyperbaric chamber treatments which seem to start moving the inflammation out. I'm at the three months Mark right now. My cheeks are lifted and my hollowness and eye bags are gone. I believe my 3-month checkup is next week. There is still some tenderness around the lateral eyes but visibly it looks amazing. I've already told two of my friends about him. One last thing, for those worried that there is not that much out there on this doctor, it's because he left a multi doctor office in which he could not take his patients or reviews with him. He has quite an extraordinary resume if you ask they will tell you . Please don't think he's new at this. He's a brilliant surgeon and you could tell that he's passionate at what he does.

She said they had a backlog of 5,000 uprocessed referrals. I can't even fathom what this would mean my healthcare needs were dire. - My PCP turned off my ability to message her after one message. - Recently I showed up for a dermatology appointment and, after disrobing and waiting, I was told I couldn't be seen that day because I had an endocrinology appointment earlier that day, completely wasting hours of my time. Yet it was someone within Perlman Clinic who had booked both appointments for me. - They have ZERO holistic options. The ONLY PCP I could find with a holistic (ie TRULY "integrative") background was fully booked out with no option for a waitlist. - The first PCP I tried with them, when I asked her "do you trust me to know my own body" looked me straight in the eye and, deadpan, said "No." Then she proceeded to get very agitated. - A recent referral was denied by my insurance and they claimed they had no interest in disputing it. - A doctor I waited a month to get in to see cancelled two hours before with no reason or apology, and bumped me right to the back of the line again, forcing me to wait another month to see her. - The endocrinologist I've been working with clearly has zero real knowledge. My research and conversation with functional doctors has shown me that if I flat out listened to her, it could be dangerous for my health. - My insurance denied thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of claims because they were incorrectly submitted. - The clinics emulate complete lack of health. Everyone who works there looks and feels so unhappy and unhealthy. I have trouble understanding how these are the people we should be counting on for our health? - As if this list weren't long enough, there's so much more beyond this - all WAY too long to list here. Update: After posting this review, I received a phone call from someone who pretended to care. But it was crystal clear in their speech that they cared ZERO. Every time I have expressed concern I've been met with inauthentic, canned speech (poorly) designed to suppress people.
