I hired Mark to help clean up some work left behind by a previous accountant. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being just as disappointing--if not worse. During what was supposed to be an active and ongoing engagement, Mark became completely unresponsive. There were no status updates, no clear next steps, and no transparency around the progress of the work. After months of emailing and calling Mark with no response, I asked my husband to reach out.
