Our most recent experience was this past December(2021). We took our entire family, all 15 of us, on a trip to the Galapagos islands, Peru and Machu Picchu.  The trip and it's transportation , excursions, guides, hotels and meals was well thought out and well planned. It actually exceeded our expectations, which were NOT low!  We rented an entire boat to accommodate all of us in the Galapagos islands. The boat was comfortable, the crew was capable and friendly, the guide was knowledgeable and helpful and the food was beyond delicious and beautiful!   Being in the Galapagos this way was a magical experience!  We then went to Peru and stayed in Cusco, an historic colonial city, enroute to Machu Picchu. Bill at Classic arranged amazing experiences for us such as rafting on the Urubamba River in Peru, riding to Machu Picchu on the Hiram Bingham train, a former Orient Express train and many other things. The transportation arrangements were flawless, the guides were helpful and knowledgeable. I really don't know what more to say to praise the team at Classic except to say that we have used them before. They earned our selection of them for the trip in December 2021 AND I will be using them again in the future!  In case it is useful for readers to know, Classic planned a remarkable trip for us to Belize for five days each in the mountains and in the shore. They also put together a wonderful trip for us and another couple to Argentina and Brazil. We were in Patagonia, Buenos Aries, Argentina, Iquzu Falls and Rio de Janeiro.  Their commitment to detail combined with their knowledge and resources have been of extraordinary benefit to us. All the air and ground transportation were included in our package and were always on time which made everything very convenient. All the services arranged by Classic Travel were spot on. I would recommend Classic Travel & Tours for your travel planning. Thank you planning a very memorable honeymoon!

We almost missed our connecting flight on the way to Israel and the airlines cancelled the final leg of our trip home, which meant that we had to drive for 8 hours after being up all night for our 15-hour flight and then waiting on the runway for an hour when the customs office wasn't open yet upon our arrival. Coral probably made a few extra bucks by putting us on indirect flights, but at what cost to us, their customers? A HUGE amount of inconvenience for those of us with the cancelled flight. Our trip was great due to the tour leaders, bus driver, and tour guide. But we received NO support from Coral when we needed it. When we tried to communicate with them, we were met with silence. They also did NOT honor many of the special requests made before the tour even began, which was less than helpful. Our tour leaders also said they were not supportive and helpful. Very disappointing. I would NOT recommend them and will NOT buy travel services through them again.

In addition to that she took care of as much of the setup, reservations, etc for me so I really only needed to give her information about who I was traveling with and what our preferences were. I was amazed by how much knowledge Chrissy has from the best times to get to the park, when to order lunch, to what rides we should go on, where reservations for wheelchairs are, how to use the Disney app, and some tips and tricks I never would have known about without her that only helped to optimize our experience while we were there. I received a pdf with all the information I needed to get around the park. Chrissy was always available, even to make last minute changes to our dinner reservation while we were at the park waiting in line for a ride. I would highly recommend that you give yourself peace of mind to just enjoy your vacation with your family and friends and let Chrissy do all the planning for you! I will be using her again the next time I am planning on going back. She is passionate about Disney and making sure you have the most magical time!

She was able to plan our entire day from making breakfast and dinner reservations based on my budget to suggesting the rides we went on. This freed up my time to allow me to pack and get everything else ready for our trip. Then the day of Disney, I went into Magic Kingdom with a game plan. I followed the map Chrissy provided me which had ride suggestions based on my kid's heights and interests. She also included a list of rides if my family wanted to split up since it was 2 toddlers and 5 adults. I mean how perfect is that! My parents were very impressed I knew exactly where to go after each ride and it's all thanks to Chrissy. Disney can be overwhelming when trying to figure out what rides to go on or where to eat but with everything planned for your family you can really enjoy the Disney magic. The trip was so great my boyfriend is already talking about going back next year!

Regarding Tom Nero's response to my post from late June, Tom should pay attention to his client…read morewho was left standing at a check in desk (in a foreign country no less) and whose client then had to wait 3 days until his agency sent confirmation of the reservation. Tom's attempts at scapegoating others for HIS agency's negligence is appalling. In addition, Tom should not make offers of compensation when he has no intention of keeping his word - his failure to keep his commitment and then duck & doge my follow-up calls (that he now spins as harassment) is over the top. I was well within my right to alter MY vacation plans 2 days prior to departure (not 24 hrs as Tom indicates, a mistruth). The fact that I remained at the resort and used the resort's facilities are moot since I was SUPPOSED TO BE at the resort...such a comment by Tom is absurd and laughable. Resort personnel were gracious to make a room available when in fact they had no paperwork/reservation from Avenue Travel. Not only did Avenue Travel put me in an embarrassing position at the Resort, but my humiliation continued as I had to stop by the front desk for 3 consecutive days to inquire if Avenue Travel processed the reservation. Having to do this impacted 3 days of (what was supposed to be ) my relaxing 7 day vacation. Upon my return home, I contacted Tom. He was apologetic, committed to monetary compensation and provided his cell #. When he failed to follow-up with me, I placed calls to both Tom's office/agents and then his cell...interestingly, my calls and messages went unanswered until I placed calls to him from another number). Tom copped attitude, reneged on his offer of compensation using the excuse that I "didn't book a cruise through his agency several years ago"....as if that has any bearing on his commitment of compensation for the embarrassing position I was put into. One could argue that Tom seemed to be engaging in some vengeful tactic. Tom, as the owner of Avenue Travel, has taken no responsibility for his agency's mistake. If there was some accounting issue as he claims, that issue was at their feet, not mine. Moreover, I am not aware of 5 office staff involved in my reservation (and if there were, it goes to show his office's incompetency in needing that much staff to handle one reservation). I can understand oversights occurring; however, I expect that oversights are compensated for when a client's vacation is impacted. My choice of using Avenue Travel was clearly a mistake and it turned into one problem after another. Mr. Nero and his partner would surely benefit from a Customer Relations seminar, and sadly, he doesn't seem to comprehend that their customer's experience can be the best or worst advertising. Coincidentally, I sincerely question the positive reviews written after my initial post.
