I had my first visit recently and was immediately shocked at how nice ALL of the staff were. My hygienist was Erica and she was so sweet. I have a horrible gag reflex and she was incredibly patient. Their office is super high tech and they took some fancy scans of my teeth which was super cool! She really took the time to get to know me and see what I expected or needed from my visit! Dr Clayton was the same way! So incredibly kind!!! I recently went in for a crown and a filling. I was so nervous, but Dr Clayton and the tech were so kind and helpful in getting me through the experience! They gave me a stress ball and head phones to listen to my own music and let me take breaks every now and then. They truly care about their patients!!

Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the waiting room. My pano xray, and exam was included in the cost of my tooth pulling which was a very reasonable price for a cash patient. The Dr, who said her name was M, middle eastern lady told me I had a cavity and periodontal disease. I go to the dentist twice a year and it sounded bogus to me. Before my cleaning they have me talk to a different office worker who tells me its going to be over $1000 for a deep cleaning that is not covered by insurance because of my "periodontal disease" Told her that isnt happening and just give me a normal cleaning that is covered by insurance. THEY FLAT OUT REFUSED TO DO A NORMAL CLEANING THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED BY INSURANCE. But they sure as hell billed my insurance for the exam and x-rays, so they used up my benefit while providing no service. Of course that lady smiled at me well you have no out of pocket, your visit is covered by insurance. Dont go here, they will lie to you, waste your insurance benefit and time. I felt like the periodontal diese and the cavity they pointed out was a bunch of made up nonsense so they could keep me coming back and keep billing me/my insurance.

If you are looking for an honest dentist then DO NOT GO HERE…read more I went in to see the dentist had my teeth cleaned and got x-rays, all was covered by my insurance. Dentist came and sat down for no more than two minutes explaining to me that I need one cavity and possibly another at another time. I called to make an appointment they then tell me I have three cavities . I decided to get a second opinion because something didn't sound right and my the new dentist took x-rays and let me know that I have no cavities and no signs of any possibilities of cavities. Now onto my husband. He went in for x-rays and a teeth cleaning. They charged him out-of-pocket $168.80 for his x-rays. We were never reimbursed from them for the x-ray charge. I contacted my insurance company and my insurance company also paid them for the full fee of $153. (so the x-rays cost 153 and they charged my husband $168.80 and I just learned of this today when I went and picked up my print out for all my charges from them) next they tell him that he has gum disease and hast to have a special cleaning and that he also needs a crown. They check the insurance and tell my husband that the cleaning is free and that the crown will cost him $551. He got his teeth cleaned that day and per the insurance company that was 100% covered. He then made an appointment for the crown and when he went in they charged him $680.60. He did not have any pain or irritation from his tooth prior to getting the crown done but since he's had the crown done, he's had problems with that tooth. The dentist office has claimed that they did x-rays on him that day but my husband said he did not get any x-rays done same day as the crown was put in. A few months later we now get a bill from Columbia family dentistry for the amount of $376.40. I contacted them and asked them what the charge was for spoke with two separate ladies and both of them are rude. They both yelled at me and then turned around and claim that I was the upset one and that's why they talk to me the way they did. If I was upset (which I wasn't), I have a right to be considering that they overcharged us for the crown. They charged us for x-rays that were paid for to them by the insurance company so they got double paid on that and then they're trying to charge me again. after getting off the phone with them I contacted my insurance company and found out everything that was covered. Everything was supposed to be paid for and the crown should've only cost my husband $551.50. After going through with the insurance told me they owe us $129.10. They finally sent me a check for $82.10 because they realized what they did was wrong but that's all they owed. So today after going through the paperwork that I got from them for the x-rays that they charged my husband $168.80 and the difference between the $680.60 that they charged him for the crown when it should've only been $551.50 they still owe us $215.80. I know I will never see that but I hope that with this review people don't go in because I believe that they are doing dental work on us even if we don't need it it's all a money game to them and the second you question them they get rude, nasty and start belittling you. Also, my husband went to our new dentist. They only had one set of x-rays sent over to the new dentist (none from the day he got a crown) unfortunately from the x-rays that they saw they could not see a crack in his tooth so they are not sure if my husband even needed a crown done and my husband's gums are as healthy as can be. He did not need a $400 teeth cleaning that they charged the insurance. All this dentist sees from anybody is a bunch of $$$$$$ and they're willing to rip out and ruin perfectly healthy teeth just to fill their pocketbooks

The staff acknowledges you with a friendly attitude from the front of the building to the back that sets the atmosphere. I have a skin cancer that weakens my immune system so picking a dentist and environment was very important to me. I looked them up on line and social media to make my choice. The staff looked like they were having fun not just a job for a paycheck. They looked welcoming one big happy friendly family attitude. I have always felt comfortable with their team's knowledge that puts me at ease on day one from the evaluation session, to cleaning and even an extraction.
