Your first appointment won't be a cleaning (something I've never experienced before). They'll take X-rays of your teeth, and a dentist will give you an examination. That's when Dr. Kang told me I had cavities in 8 of my teeth. He wanted to get me in immediately and the receptionist asked if I was available the next day for fillings. Dr. Kang was very nice, thorough, professional, and is clearly a very smart guy, but I wanted to get a second opinion because I had never even had a cavity before, and I wasn't okay with spending almost $400 (with insurance) to drill 8 of my teeth. I saw another dentist who said I had 2 cavities. I chose him over Dr. Kang. Dr. Kang may be a good fit for you depending on your dental preferences and needs, but I prefer someone more medically conservative and an office that doesn't use pressure tactics.

I had my first visit recently and was immediately shocked at how nice ALL of the staff were. My hygienist was Erica and she was so sweet. I have a horrible gag reflex and she was incredibly patient. Their office is super high tech and they took some fancy scans of my teeth which was super cool! She really took the time to get to know me and see what I expected or needed from my visit! Dr Clayton was the same way! So incredibly kind!!! I recently went in for a crown and a filling.
