I really wanted to like this service. The first few times I hired them I was satisfied. It only took a few days after payment for them to cut my lawn. After that, it started taking weeks. When I would ask them when they were coming, they gave lame excuses like rain, when we both knew it didn't rain everyday for two weeks. Now it has been months since I paid and they still have not cut my lawn. I've even had to hire people in between. My mother pretty much talks to them and handles business with them but I'm about to find a reliable lawn person and call PayPal to report them. If they only maintained their service like it was in the beginning, they would have put every other lawn service out of the business. Oh, BTW, if you look at the good reviews, please notice that they all are reviews after one visit. I'm quite sure if those people were to edit their review after more visits, their reviews would reflect the neglect that the other reviews show. read more

Here are my experiences with the Garrison's Grass-cutters. Prior to Saturday, 25 April 2020, the first time with Garrison's lawn service- I wasn't home. When I returned home I saw excess grass cuttings left on the lawn and in my front yard flower bed. Okay, I thought, "I should get my concerns addressed before the next time. As I walked in my backyard, then looked at my patio, I saw my sneakers, Ring camera, gardening seed pots, and some more little things out of place. My other camera picked up these items being blown by one of the Garrison's employee's with a blow gun. On the second the employees failed to finish cutting the front lawn, and blowing excess grass off of my lawn. Instead they blew grass clippings back in the flower bed again, and cut the branches off of one of my bushes located in my back yard. I didn't discover this incident until later that evening and the employees never said anything to me about the bush at any time. When I sent an email to Garrison's about the lawn unfinished the employee's returned to finish the job. Also, I noticed that they move my things but do not put them back. The employee's returned that same evening and made half -hearted effort to blow grass off the lawn and out of the flower beds. Later that evening after standing in the back yard and saw that branches on the ground I took pictures of my damaged bush and unfinished lawn then stated my reservations to Garrison's. Terrible service. Poor communication. I've been trying to get a refund for 2 weeks now. DO NOT use this service.

I've used them twice and I was happy. Well I paid for my grass to get cut a few weeks ago and I've called twice to find out when they were going to come. I was told by the lady receptionist that Mr. Garrison hasn't shared his schedule and she doesn't know when he'll be able to get to me. So I asked for my money back this past Tuesday. I was told that I will have my money back in 48 hours. I call three times today and can't get in touch with them. read more

I passed by one of their trucks and decided to try their services out. I prepaid for my services (April 9) as they ask, sent an email updating them with my address and telephone number. On April 16, I reached out to get some type of time frame on when they would be servicing my yard and was advised they had me scheduled for that weekend. The weekend came and went and my yard was still untouched. At that point, I submitted a request for a refund which I received on April 20th. They tried to say bc if COVID19 there was a delay in service. As a potentially new customer , their communication is poor. They tried to advise me to "cancel my paypal investigation" which I hadn't escalated at that point but if I did and they didn't pay me, I probably would not have received my money back. Garrisons Grass cutters started off good for the first three cuts. afterward it is pure excuses. They take the payment from your account but don't complete the service. The phones rings unanswered and they don't call back after leaving voice message. I will not be using them again. read more

I have been using their services for almost a year now and have never had any issues previously. Lately things have really been aggravating trying to get my lawn serviced. You call their number and MOST of the time it's not answered and voicemails are not returned(I've left at least two). Emails aren't returned. And when you actually do speak to someone you are told that they will let the know . No real solution or date for when services will be rendered. So I spoke to mr garrison the owner of this company on Saturday 8/5/2020 he assured me that my lawn would be cut I paid him and text my address and name to the number he instructed me to. Today is Wednesday my lawn isn't cut and I can't get in contact with the very rude lady that is "supposed" to answer the phone. I spoke with her once she said she would call him and get back to me since then she will not answer or return my calls and text. At this point I feel disrespected, I paid for a service that I did not receive and there is no communication as to what is going on. That's unacceptable for any business. They was cutting my neighbor's yard I asked if they had time to cut mine. And with no problem they was willing to cut my yard after they was done with my neighbor's yard. Scam scam scam. They website makes you pay for services before they do the job. They don't call you to schedule what time is good for you so when they come out and do your grass they don't call at all, you have to chase them down. I was a new customer to garrison grasscutters. The first time I paid for service almost everything was done as promised with one minor incident. So a few weeks later I paid for a second service on June 30th. It is now July 30th and no one has come out to cut my grass. I called about 2 weeks in to inquire about when my grass would get cut. I was told due to all the rain they are running behind. That was completely understandable at the time. By week 3 I called and left a message. Instead of getting a call back I received a text message stating the same excuse I was given the first. I text back asking if they could at least tell me when my property would be scheduled. They continued to send me the same generic message about the rain. Here it is today 31 days later. I called and you guessed it. No one answered the phone. No one has returned any phone calls. No one from the company has reached out to their customers to let them know what is going on. My lawn has not been serviced. I am out the money I pre paid. I am feeling ripped off.
