The ONE time I actually got a human to answer the phone, he asked me to please hold, I waited for over 10 minutes, then he just sent me to voicemail! The message says they'll get back to you, but they never do! After a MONTH of just trying to set up an appointment for my annual physical, I FINALLY get a call back. There was no apology for not getting back to me, just pure attitude, even in the greeting!!! I wish my people would do better! Even though I'd hate to, I would probably have to leave this practice if an actual real emergency came up, 'cause I wouldn't be able to get a hold of anybody!!! So sad, because she is great. She needs staff that supports her business, not lazy folks who won't even answer the phone!!!

As a woman, I like having a physician that not only understands my body/issues, but who can also…read moreempathize because she's "been there" too. Dr. April Tritto is that kind of physician and I'm so glad she's my doctor! In fact, all of the physicians and staff at the SLUCare OBGYN are extremely personable (which is SO important in a doctor these days) and knowledgeable, and they make you feel at ease when you're in their offices. Here are some of the specifics about their office: - Bring your insurance card with you. Every time. They will check to make sure you have up-to-date insurance! - The girls who work at the front desk are really, really nice. Some front desk people at the Dr.'s office are mean and nasty...not the case here! - The wait to see a Dr. is usually no more than 10-15 minutes. I've sat in other waiting rooms for what feels like hours. - If you need to get in to see a physician right away and your particular Doc isn't available, you can schedule an appt. with another physician. - Almost all of the OBGYN's in this facility are female. Snaps to that! SLUCare is a "learning facility", which might make some uneasy (i.e., "Are they using me as a guinea pig?"), but don't worry. All of the physicians are either residents or eligible to practice. And they might have a Doc-in-training with them to observe, but they will ask your permission first. I've even done a few surveys for a student and gotten paid for it...just for answering a few simple (and non-evasive) questions! In a big city it's oftentimes tough to find a good medical practice with whom you can trust. SLUCare has been nothing but fabulous to me in the past 2-3 years and I will continue to use them in the future!

I hired her for two days a week 7:30-10:30a. She would arrive 8-8:30 and leave by 10. Charging the full three hours. Maybe she pads in travel? She is pleasant and efficient in her tasks but for my needs, arriving at her convenience delays my ability to get out of bed and start my day. (service 10/1 - 10/24/24) -- Angela D.

I wasn't planning on leaving this review - I was looking for something else, and was just curious…read morewhat Dr. Paul's reviews looked like. I am SHOCKED to see that his reviews are ... blank! WTF? I was a patient of Dr. Malcharek from 1996 or 1997 (don't remember any more), until my insurance decided they didn't like competent physicians any more (not cool guys! the people they think are competent make me fear for my life). There is very little I can say that's not good about Dr. Paul. Really, the only thing that comes to mind is I am not partial to having been forced to stop seeing him in 2019, after more than 20++ years! Try him, you WILL like him! He's the last of a dying breed. He takes his time with patients, listens to what they have to say, and doesn't play the myriad games that so many other (recently graduated) doctors do. He really is interested solely in the best outcomes possible - I miss him dearly!

Basically the only way to *choose* a doctor is based off their credentials and background. I wish there were a consistent review platform for healthcare providers. I found Dr. Leigh Ball's page and realized she was also a sleep specialist, which worked well for me since I was having some issues with insomnia. I am so happy with Dr. Ball. She takes time to listen, asks great questions and is understanding. She involves my partner when he comes to appointments with me but always sleeps the focus on me. She was also willing to do virtual apts. She is responsive via MyChart. Great experience with her. The office itself is in the CAM. Pretty basic, staff is nice, straight to the point. I've never had to wait more than like 30 mins tops to be seen. They can also do some blood work right there which is nice. Oh, and the views of the city from the CAM are a nice little perk.
