Very rarely do you meet a person who is willing to go above and beyond his/her job. Griff's team not only replaced our roof, they also replaced our gutters and resprayed the fence and were very professional throughout the entire process. A couple of items were overlooked and one phone call to Griff and he ensured the issues were addressed promptly. We did not have to chase him for these issues. If and when we need our roof replaced again I will call Griff. I would recommend him without hesitation.

We hired Firehouse for a huge project of building a stone retaining wall, then back-filling inside…read morethe wall to bring our hillside lot much closer to level, then installing a BOB privacy fence mounted in the stone, and a custom-designed and fabricated sliding driveway gate, at our home in Hillcrest Shores. Their design and workmanship is excellent, they use top shelf materials, and, thanks in part, I'm sure, to getting on their calendar early in the season, the work was completed in a very timely manner, with no appreciable delays caused by anything but the weather. We got three estimates for the project, and for the first time in our lives, gave the job to the HIGHEST bidder. That is because, in addition to admiring their work elsewhere around Rockwall, owner Zach Simons is the sole point of contact for the estimate process on the entire project. His competitors were like, "Yeah, we can estimate the wood today, then we'll send a stone guy next week, and a gate-design guy the week after that." (Slight exaggeration there.) We were much more comfortable working with a single source for the whole project. Yes, Firehouse charges a premium, but we got what we paid for. Highly recommended.

Once we finally got the okay to proceed with our fence, Zach had us on the schedule within the week. We went with board on board with two 4 & 1/2ft wide gates and a fence surrounding our pool equipment. His guys were efficient, courteous & professional and our fence is beautiful! Highly recommend!

Tracy is quick to respond and clearly passionate about his work, but a less than 30 days-quoted…read moreproject took almost four months due to permit/licensing issues (incurring additional fees and a 4-5 week delay) and laying the grid a second time (more fees), his business account was supposedly compromised (requiring us to call and pay his materials suppliers directly), and we seemed to encounter additional charges every time we spoke, which was exceptionally often due to miscommunication (contradictory info from Tracy against the companies he used for everything from concrete, electrical, and the painting/staining crew). We love our space -- the structure is sturdy and designed per our wishes, but not even 18-mo later, the wood used for the frames and posts are swollen/warped, the concrete extension is cracked (could be repaired at a cost, of course), the door was not hung correctly, and we've had to replace panels of screening and drill loose screws back in/hammer nails jutting out back down. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a one-off/tough time and resulted in a fairly mediocre experience and that TDJ's other work is higher quality/has better servicing, but I would not recommend this provider.
