Plus, it smelled so fresh when we went in the next morning for the actual event. We had use of the entire area. They provide the tables, chairs, tablecloths, chair covers and even music if you need it. That is what made it super easy and less stressful because we didn't have to go to a separate business to provide tables and chairs. The area is convenient and we didn't have to worry about parking. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot if the dates are available.

While the dance recital was 92.7% pure hell, the venue itself was pretty nice. The parking area is very large and convenient. Most of the parking is on rocks instead of concrete, so your car will get dirty. If you are a clean freak, I suggest trying for one of the coveted paved spots. The setup is very similar to the main floor of the Pontchartrain Center. There was a large stage, plentiful floor seating and additional stadium style seating in the rear. I could see how this venue would work well for several different types of events. The facility seems relatively new, and as a result, it was very clean. The bathrooms were well designed and had no issue handling the large crowd of dance moms and dejected looking dudes. Outside there is a nice man made lake. I assume it is some sort of retention pond, but there were ducks in it. Everyone loves ducks. Another big plus for the facility is that it is located on the Northshore. That means I no longer have to drive all the way to Kenner to be shaken down by the dance mafia. I can experience that lovely fleecing in the comfort of my own home parish. In summary, this is a good venue for events. While dance recitals are pretty brutal, the venue did a good job hosting.
