She canceled the morning of our event due to a family emergency but was not able to provide a substitute photographer as required in her contract. Initially, we hoped to be able to reschedule but quickly learned that we would not be able to due to our business needs. We requested our deposit back. At first, Ms. Denault agreed to return the deposit within a couple of weeks. She did not. When we reached out a second time, she argued that she should not have to return the deposit since we could not reschedule our event, but ultimately agreed to send the funds back. After more than six months and numerous contacts, it has become clear that she is not going to return our deposit. She kept the $600 for which she performed zero work. Due to this situation, we would not recommend her as she is not a reliable source of photography services and does not stand behind her contracts.

Then we found Larry...his a la carte package was perfect for us. We received two DVDs with over 900 photos from the wedding day. Many portraits and candids...which we love! We hired him for 10 hours and he was perfect. He also brought a sidekick which provided us with many of the candid shots. Larry was very professional and fun the entire day. He is not at all pushy or rude, but just the opposite. From the first moment in meeting Larry, you feel comfortable and he's all ready coming up with ideas for the area you're getting married!
