From our first intro call, we knew she would be a great fit. She's warm and kind, and made my camera-shy husband feel like he could feel comfortable around her. Throughout the planning process, Gaby gave great advice about how the flow of pictures would work, how to plan the logistics to facilitate easy photo-taking, etc. On the day of our wedding, Gaby and her associate, Stevi were amazing. They were quick and directive (when needed) but also blended so well into the background so my husband and I felt like we had some private moments together. Additionally, we had some transportation/ traffic issues and they both coordinated seamlessly with our wedding planner so that everyone got where they needed to be and we got all of the pictures we wanted. I wasn't involved in the nitty gritty logistics at all and I'm so grateful Gaby and Stevi were there to help. We're still waiting on the full album of pictures (our wedding was just last week!), but the pictures she's shared thus far have been beautiful. I'm so excited to see all of them and I know they'll be amazing.

We hired Tessa for our wedding after seeing her work from afar for many years. While I knew that Tessa was an amazing photographer and editor, I was completely blown away by her talent in person. Tessa is a freaking BOSS. She completely ran the show, took charge, and made our wedding day perfectly seamless. She worked so well with our videographer too. My entire bridal party is STILL raving about how great she was on our wedding day. More than just being professional, timely, and efficient, Tessa was so much fun to have around. Our bridal party was quite large and rowdy, but she handled us with such ease. She laughed with us and even cried with us. Tessa honestly felt like one of my bridesmaids. I have no idea when Tessa captured half the pictures she got. She was incognito for most of the ceremony and reception, sneaking around to get the best angles and the little details of the day. She was extremely respectful of our church's rules and still managed to capture the most beautiful and essential photos. She really goes above and beyond. On top of all of this, working with Tessa before and after that day was amazing too. The morning after our wedding, Tessa sent us 113 PREVIEW PICS. I was only expecting 5. Talk about going above and beyond... And then she was finished with all of our wedding pics within 3 weeks which allowed us to not come off our wedding high for a very long time. She also traveled to Chicago from Indianapolis for our engagement shoot on pretty short notice and was super flexible in rescheduling our shoot due to weather. If you do one thing to make sure you have the best wedding day, you need to hire Tessa. You won't regret it.

My wife (fiance at the time) LOVES pictures. To her, the one thing that was most important about…read morethe wedding was having great pictures to remember it by. I personally find pictures annoying to take and wasn't as excited about it. My wife and I had attended another wedding in Indianapolis where Rich was the photographer and she loved the work he did and how he did it. I was agnostic and let her choose. The experience started with the engagement pictures. Rich is based in Indianapolis but is expanding into Chicago based on demand. Rich came to Chicago and we just explored the city together with him taking pictures all the while. He would take pictures in what I thought were very random places, but after seeing the results I realized he had an amazing eye for picture possibilities and lighting. Rich also took a lot of candid shots that captured our personalities and interaction. I'm not a huge fan of taking pictures, but Rich made us feel comfortable and made me excited to see the end results. For the wedding Rich was just as good. He blended into the background and used the settings that nature and the venues provided. The pictures didn't feel staged, but instead felt natural and fun. They captured the moments and the true spirit of the day without Rich ever trying to control the situation or be invasive. As a groom, I would definitely rec commend Rich to other guys as being a pleasure to work with. I know that brides will be amazed too, because mine is very picky about her pictures and she was absolutely amazed.

He recognized our vision and met all of our requirements: engagement session, all-day photography, all images provided on disc, and photo book. We also received a discounted rate because we had our wedding on a Friday night. Our engagement photos were stunning. We met him for an afternoon at the Canal and he made it look like we had been whisked away to somewhere in Europe. He also gave us about 8-8x10 prints from the session and a few were featured on his website. On our big day, Rich helped capture every moment. He and his assistant photographed the entire ceremony, as well as all the preparations. Some of the pictures from the salon of my bridesmaids and me are my favorites. He also helped orchestrate a beautiful "first glance' moment between my husband and me. After the ceremony, our wedding party took a bus around the city and Rich had us photographed in some beautiful spaces. My only regret is we didn't get to the Circle, but maybe for our vow renewal! He and his assistant stayed well into the night and found big and small moments to capture. We treasure his work and it makes me so happy that we invested our time and money with Rich. You would not regret choosing him as your photographer for any important event.
