Dr Niccoli used to be good, great in fact. She was the first doctor in years who took me seriously…read moreand I loved her and recommended her to all my female friends. Unfortunately, like so many other things, the more popular she became, the worse her quality of care became. She used to return calls same day, this past time I left a message it took over a week before I got a call back, and that was from her nurse. She used to treat the whole person and make even the uncomfortable lady exams less embarrassing. On my last one, she was all business and instead of answering my questions said she had to wait for blood work. When I had the blood work completed instead of giving me all the results and/or treating me her nurse called and advised I find another doctor nearer my home. I begged the nurse, since I just had a full physical and blood work, to ask Niccoli to give me a few months to find a new doctor. I assured her I didn't mind the 2 hour drive as I still had lots of family within 5 miles of her office. Niccoli left me a message saying she felt it better I find I local doctor. I always paid my bill. I never cancelled appointments without notice or left her in the lurch. I referred everyone I know to her, but now after I just paid for a physical and had complete blood work up, when the results were in she abandoned me. I did nothing to her. After a decade as her patient I think I deserve more. Now, even though I just had one, I have to pay for another physical, more blood work, and higher new patient exam fees to get the information she has sitting on her desk. Quite frankly I am hurt and confused. I was a great patient. If I am okay with a drive to see her, who is she to determine that I need to find someone closer to home. The real kicker though, is I told her before I even scheduled the physical and before she gave me orders for blood work that I had to move. Why did she do the physical and order the blood work to begin with. Why not tell me before I drove 2 hours for that exam that she had no intention of keeping me as a patient. At least that way I wouldn't have to go through the awkward exam twice within a couple months.
