Unfortunately my Mom did fracture her wrist and elbow in the fall, but Dr. Beim was able to set the wrist nicely and give her a soft cast and pain med recommendations so she could be setup well as she waits to get surgery at home. There was no wait anytime along the way, and everyone was very kind to my poor Mom. Thanks guys!

I don't know if anyone else is more straightforward about this? If anyone gives any options? Seems like we shouldn't be placed in a situation where we are choosing between one office visit to get treated in sickness or putting food on the table the rest of the month or paying our mortgage in full or (ironically, paying our health insurance premium). I have learned from this that no matter how sick or how friendly the physician is, I need to get the financial disclosure in advance. Hopefully this doesn't lead to deferring treatment and ending up in the ER.
