I don't really even know where to begin... Once referred, we went to see Dr. Tran about treating…read moreour daughter's hemangiomas. At no time, did this Dr. utter the words, "This is not something I can personally treat." or "Unfortunately this is beyond my capabilities." etc., (even though nothing has changed, that is exactly what's being claimed as of today when a follow-up to that initial consult was being scheduled). During that initial consult, Dr. Tran DID say, "I would like you to go see this specialist for a second opinion, just to be sure, since this is pretty rare; and then come back and see me for a follow-up." _ This literally implies we would be coming back to TRAN for the TREATMENT of the condition, once his "opinion" was verified by the "specialist"... there is NO OTHER WAY that could be interpreted, period. As was explained to Tran at the time, and again to various staff while trying to schedule the follow-up: "Yours was not the 1st opinion, it's not even the 2nd or 3rd -- You're the 4th or 5th Doctor in nearly 2 years (from the various NICU Doctors, Pedia., to Tran, all of whom have said the exact same thing [but she's now old enough that we feel comfortable beginning treatment]. _ Tran, at the time said, "The second opinion is not required, it would just be a good idea; but you can certainly do what you want." (as if we needed his frikkin' permission -- and keep in mind, this is after explaining the multitude of "opinions" already attained by NICU Doctors who are way more educated, specialized and experienced in pediatric matters than any Dermatologist!). Anyway, during the course of attempting to schedule the follow-up, I inquired as to whether or not our daughter would even need to be present, as we would just be discussing treatment options during said appointment, which she doesn't really need to be present for anyway; and explained that due to Covid-lockdowns, Masking, and her negative association with trips to Dr offices (for Pediatric vaccinations, etc.) she now freaks out and is inconsolable for as long as any Nurse or Doctor is in a confined/small room with her, especially if masked (which is what happened during the consult; and because of that, we weren't able to sit and discuss really anything because everyone, ourselves included, just wanted to get her out ASAP... Well, they must have remembered her and just decided it's not worth the hassle to treat her, so they're now claiming Tran isn't qualified to treat her. LMAO. Okay, so, if you're being honest THIS TIME, it means you've been committing fraud up to now, in addition to wasting our time and money; and you owe us (and the insurance company) a full refund, since your office knew we were coming in for a hemangioma condition which she was born with [the rarer congenital variety]... Again, IF this is something he cannot personally treat, then that is something that would've been stated for legal (and ethical) purposes PRIOR TO, OR DURING the consult; and a future appointment would not have been suggested for the matter, PERIOD. Regardless of the reasoning, we would not go back to them even if they offered to treat her for free. What has happened to the medical community over the last couple years should chill everyone to the frikkin' bone, because these are supposed to be medical professionals, educated persons who do what is ethically/morally right and who always have the health and well-being of their patient foremost in their minds -- yet, that is pretty much the opposite of what's been happening -- they've replaced practical medicine with feel-good placebos [example: cloth or surgical masks being required in all Doctor offices, despite knowing those masks DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BENEFICIAL IN REGARDS TO AIRBORNE VIRUSES [W.H.O., C.D.C., and EVERY PRIVATELY OR PUBLICLY GENERATED STUDY THAT HAS BEEN DONE ON THIS MATTER, SINCE THEIR INCEPTION!], they may help you think you're safe (if you're wildly uninformed), but they are actually putting you at greater risk than not wearing one at all... Suffice to say, when you catch them flat out lying to your face, it's truly infuriating. {P.S. We were referred to this Doctor by our Pediatrician, who like Tran, correctly identified the condition right off the bat -- we did not just pick his name out of a hat -- so even the referring Doctor thought Tran was capable of treating this condition... but, whatever. F this guy. I wouldn't even trust him to treat something as simple as acne at this point.}

She said "I should probably refer you to a general surgeon but I can do it in my office." This is the result of her lipoma removal. When she saw the result she said "I'm so disappointed in myself." Even worse, I told her I was pregnant at the follow up and she proceeded to recommend medication with isoretinoin in, which is known to cause fetal defects. When I reminded her I was pregnant she said "oh yea woops." This is despicable medical care and I would never recommend this girl to anyone.

In search of a new doctor and Yelp is where I turn - once again my fellow Yelpers did not let me…read moredown. The pandemic has really impacted me and it is showing up in my skin so I needed help. And I found it! I have been here twice already. The building and office are both conveniently located so easy to get to both! Plenty of parking and I am always able to get pretty close to the door even when it seems full. The appointment process was pretty quick and easy beforehand over the phone. What I love most about this office is its efficiency: I am in and out! Many doctors are notorious for having patients waiting for close to an hour in the waiting room and then perfunctorily rushing us through an exam with no follow-ups. Not the case here. I came and began filling out paperwork and before I was done, I was called back to the room. I was seen and heard. I felt very taken care of and my prescriptions were ready that evening when I went to pick them up. The prescribed medicines have subsided my inflammations and now I hope I am on my way to healthier skin for what I hope was a one off due to the stresses and anxiety of a global pandemic. My follow-up visit was equally appreciated. I think I waited for less than five minutes after check-in and was seen in less than five minutes again after I was taken to a room. I have only seen Allyson the physician assistant and I am very happy in her care. I felt that she really listened and thought about a proper path forward. I also felt that she had compassion however subtle for how uncomfortable I was. I felt safe and comfortable which is important when you see your doctor. I hate feeling judged, ignored or not listened to by people who are supposed to be a help. Additionally, both nurses were efficient and courteous on both visits. I would highly recommend this practice but here are a few things they could do to improve even though I am giving them five stars... (1) I would love it if they were paperless upon check-in (this can be done beforehand online and/or in office via a whiteboard or a tablet/computer. (2) Although I was scheduled for a follow-up before I left on the second visit, I was not on the first visit - that would have been ideal as I had to call myself and was lucky enough after calling back twice to get into a cancellation spot so I could remain on time for my follow-up (3) My prescription was sent over but percentages/strengths were left out of the compound so this is delaying completion of my order. They were contacted in the early afternoon hours but it looks like they will not be returning the call until the next business day. (4) I always appreciate an obligatory hand wash when medical staff enter the room just to know they are keeping everything clean especially if they make contact with my skin. Still not seeming like it was healing right, we went to a different practice. He said it looked like a keloid and treated it, did not change, so he sent us to a plastic surgeon. He treated it to soften it for surgery for year. When he was able to finally do the surgery, he asked how many stitches the original derm (mindful) used to close the incision. They didn't use any. He said it looked as if some of the glue they used got into the incision and that is why it formed the keloid. I was so mad! Not only did we tell them it did not look right, but they obviously did not do a good job since they got glue in the wound. I have never gone back obviously, And while I did go there at that time, I will say they over charge for all of their esthetics. I feel they are more about money than how than anything else.

July /31st / 2026 Entered the office requesting my records from a past visit from June /25/225…read morewhere he biopsy two spots which came back being diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma , and due to a new spot that I got that was growing rapidly that look like squamous cell carcinoma , and needed to get my diagnosis and recommendations to present for financial help or to at least help the next dermatologist / MOHS surgeon to treat me. In years past I had already had two Mohs surgeries diagnosed by 2 different dermatologist , one of these surgeries resulted in having plastic surgery done because it was on my nose and quite large that was the first one that I had. I explained it was very important that I get my lab diagnosis from my visit there on June 25th 2025 that had been relayed by the physician on the phone I was on a mission to get financial assistance to get Moe's surgery as well as get the other one that he hadn't diagnosed but that was growing rapidly although I didn't have the funds. The woman at the office told me that she couldn't give me my records all she could give me was my notes because it had been past a year, although that seems stupid the diagnosis wasn't going to change on the two spots of basal cell carcinoma I already had that he had biopsied and that had came back as being basal cell carcinoma, although when I was there it was June /25/25 and when I went in to get the records considering I had 2 spots of skin basal cell carcinoma cancer that he had biopsied and the lab reported according to him having called me they reported they are basal cell carcinoma, and a new spot that looks similar to that of squamous cell carcinoma that he hadn't seen or diagnosed that was growing rapidly that I needed to get biopsied and removed as well as the other two spots he had previously diagnosed and they refuse to give me records showing my diagnosis and said that I would need to make an appointment and he would need to see me and I said I wouldn't be here asking for my diagnosis if I could afford to see him again , and I said that's silly to ask him to do more biopsies on the same spot and she had enough nerve to say well get him to do a biopsy on the new spot. I said no I need my diagnosis,. but then she exclaimed that they could give me the notes from my last visit and that that's all they could do. I asked if the notes would have my diagnosis on it and she said yes so I was extremely relieved at that point. However when I got to my vehicle I read through the notes and my diagnosis was not on the notes. I've had many deaths in the family the last couple of years and have tried to work and care for my family members deceased and surviving. However this physician states on his site that he is affiliated with Baylor he is not listed as a Baylor medical center physician according to the person that I spoke with at the Baylor physician referral so they told me that he has privileges and rights at Baylor but he is not a Baylor medical center physician. I'm very heartbroken and lost and pray to God none of the women that were up there in the office ever have to go through this. Last year I had insurance , this year I do not we lost our insurance due to the price of insurance going up and many different hardships the last few years with illnesses and deaths in the family . We've had insurance for many many years and paid our bills and this is just horrible and I feel this is a horrible way to treat people who are trying to care for themselves healthwise and medically. If these are their policies I feel policy is bad for business and doesn't reflect the values of compassionate caring American Having cared for many of veterans in my family and in my line of work and I would not refer them to this physician , our veterans had to go through a lot of red tape and bureaucracy bullcrap back in the '80s we doing great and finally getting things up to par and everything is crashing around if they have to go through this type of treatment or their loved ones or anyone else for that matter. PS. All dermatologists that I have spoken to recommended because I am light skinned to avoid sunbathing wear serious sunscreen.

The cysts have been bothering me since my teenage years and finally, I have relief and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work on me. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
