My Camry had a no-start issue, and instead of trying to sell me a starter or some expensive repair like less honest mechanics might have done, Sherman took the time to properly diagnose the problem and found that a connector wasn't plugged in correctly. He fixed it quickly and had the car running again. On my Impala, he completed an oil change and repaired my cigarette lighter outlets, which had been damaged by an overpowered device that had melted part of the circuit. Everything is working properly now. He arrived on time, was professional from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and charged a very fair price. He even followed up by sending me a PDF with diagnostic codes and a detailed list of recommended maintenance items for future service. It's hard to find mechanics who are knowledgeable, honest, and transparent, but Sherman checked all three boxes. Hills was referred to me by another shop, as someone with the ability to deal with this ( not a common issue, but, also not something a LOT of other tire shops can deal with ). I was both amazed at how fast it was, and how reasonable it was, to get this repaired. they let me know upfront there was a slight labor uptick, due to some extra effort/mechanical parts being involved, told me when it was ready, asked if i wanted to pick it up then, or leave it overnight ( was late in the afternoon ). I can say i am DONE with Sams Club tires.. you THINK u save money.. but.. no, not in the long run, which is when it counts and adds up. didnt mention the reason for the repair in the first place-- a nearly new tire i got from Sams, "came apart", on this rim. and when replaced, they screwed up the lugs, didnt mention it, and, i wasnt aware of it for months, until i tried to get the paid for tire rotation/balance done.. they couldnt get the wheel off.. so yea.. go with the PRO's.. and counter service/phone call/service people i spoke with-- all were more than courteous..

I called them and they told me to bring it in, to see if they had missed something or something was left undone. my husband was at the Taco Bell and we asked for a tow truck, they said okay, but if it was their fault we wouldn't have to pay for it but, if it was something else other than what they were fixing, we'd have to pay the towing. the owing fee was $150... from Taco Bell, to the shop. it wasn't even that far. my husband ended up asking help to push the car. we get a call the next day, that the car is ready. we come in, they said "alright, take it". didn't get charged or get any explanation. second incident, my husband brings in his 2015 Chevy Silverado. it needs breaks changed on all 4. tell me why it's $2,000 ?? what do we do, we bring all the parts. the brakes and brake pads and router, and caliber. just for the labor it was $700? which is crazy, cause my husband kept going back and forth with them. they kept telling him they weren't the right breaks, or pads, and my husband comes to talk to the machanic and he's like "oh sorry, we haven't even opened the boxes or looked at them" NEVERMIND, $680 to change one set of breaks, router and caliber. FUCKING CRAZY. I'm sorry but, they need better communication skills, and they take sooo long to get things done.
