Horrible park. I was lookin for a place where I could get steps in and this one was closest to me…read moreso I chose it only for that reason. Upon arriving, I sat at a picnic table to eat my sub but a stray dog came up towards me and kept staring at me so it was uncomfortable. Eventually his owner some disc golf playing hippie called him over just as I was finishing! Ugh. Then I hit rest room to wash hands but door wouldn't shut right! I had to pull hard! Then as I was in baño I noticed profanity written on door. Of course no soap. Trashy and ghetto. During walk I noticed grass was overgrown and overall park was just uncared for. There were pictures of penises and the word penis on the disc golf signs! I couldn't wait to leave that park feel sorry for the kids who were walk-in among tall grass they better check first ticks before they headed home!

After our discussion we selected the perfect size hoop for our driveway without overbearing the curb appeal of the house. His team was out to our home the next business day to install the anchor. Once that had cured, our new hoop was installed. It looks like a professional court in my driveway and as if the concrete base was always there. It blends in perfectly with the driveway. As for the hoop, its fully adjustable, powder coat painted, padded, and totally awesome. The hoop is top quality and looks like it'll last for years to come. It sits on less than an acre or what might be considered a single residential home site. This property supports quite a number of amenities for its size, including a large covered area perfect for a quartet. This park boasts of a covered pavilion, 2 play scapes, a splash pad, two separate picnic areas with grills, and a fountain. I also spotted two sets of swings and a half basketball court. There are also two additional grills at the pavilion, but I did not see any public bathrooms. One thing I noticed that was noticeably absent was that there are no "no parking" signs next to this park unlike the Swede Hill pocket park just a few blocks away. Definitely a nice community park that benefits the residents in the area.

The park sits on two or more acres which means it has plenty of green space. Despite all the amenities, some things I did not spot were public bathrooms, covered picnic table area, and a swimming pool, but there is a parking lot. There are some benches and picnic tables scattered throughout the property, found usually under some of the large oak trees. At the entrance of the park there is a volunteer library and a small community center. The park boasts of these amenities, public bathrooms, on site grills, covered picnic area, a Playscape for young children and two basketball courts. There is also a sandy volleyball court but you'll have to bring your own net. This park sits directly next to some railroad tracks which are still in use. The parking lot to the park itself can hold about 20 cars and the community center holds about 20 as well. So if you're looking for a nice out-of-the-way quiet family park for a picnic, this would be a great option. The pictures below will give you a good idea of what to expect.
