As soon as I sat down, I knew I was in the right hands. She took the time to really look all over my scalp and hair to determine what would be best in terms of trim, plus also giving me tips on how to do proper care at home. She was gentle at the sink and even after, when detangling my hair, asking if the tension was okay or if I needed gentler touch. She did a phenomenal job making my curls pop. That's a gift. I bought the hair masque she recommended and booked my next appointment. I see she does manicures and pedicures, too. Definitely will book the latter after ski boot season! The salon was super clean, modern, and has a great array of products and services. They have excellent COVID procedures in place as well. She's a gem and I highly recommend both her and the salon.

Her daughter did my pedicure and Phinne did my manicure. The exfoliation of my feet during the pedicure was a plus but the application of the polish was substandard. A thick glob was applied to the center of the nail and then spread out. Power tools were used to remove the gel manicure from my fingernails and there were times it was painful as she wore down my nails. My nails are now continuously breaking because she thinned them so much. I will continue to drive to Burlington for better quality.

When I made the appointment I was asked- "what's on your nails now?"- which would have been the perfect opportunity to explain their very unusual approach to pricing. They charge $15 to remove existing polish, and $42 for new gel polish. I requested a manicure but really all I got was removal of my existing gel polish, and reapplication of new gel polish. No cuticle work at all.
