They were very professional and so kind to her. They were also patient and understanding regarding some dementia issues she was experiencing. As a new, impending patient they gave me pause, but my experience was the opposite of negative - some of these must be reviewing the wrong dental practice. I was so impressed I scheduled appointments for both my daughters, as we have been looking for a new dentist. Dr.Talbot was *extremely* approachable, helpful and informative, and did not feel anything drastic needed to be done to my mother's teeth. He could have recommended expensive procedures to help with her issue, if, as some of these reviewers claim, he just wanted to fill a quota. Conversely, he recommended she wait and see how she felt for a bit. He even sat down separately with me, to preserve her dignity, in order to get my take regarding a bit of her history -since she was unable to recall correctly some of her procedures and dates. This office scheduled me and didn't even have an oral surgeon available at my appt. They instead, began trying to upsell me and completely wasted my time. I wish I would have changed insurance and not been so limited in options for providers because this company and all of the modern dentistry umbrella offices have only ever given me the feeling that they are more focused on saying what is necessary to get you in the door and focusing on up selling and charging as much as they can to the customers. I will only work with one provider in their office and missed a week of work to show I'm for the appt for literally nothing since the front desk scheduled me with someone who couldn't even do the procedure. If you can, avoid this place

Walking in, there is an old VW bus in the waiting room. During the Covid-19 pandemic the bus is closed but at other times kids are able to play inside and watch shows while waiting. We bring our four kids in all at the same time and they have plenty of dental hygienists to get them started in the cleaning at the same time. Kids are given earphones to watch a movie on a TV mounted on the ceiling while their teeth are being cleaned. The staff is all friendly and helpful. We've had a great experience with them. Highly recommend to those in the west Kaysville area.

I told her the insurance company I have and gave her my policy/member number. She told me their office does accept my insurance, so I was excited. I waited 4 weeks for an appointment. I pulled my daughter out of school and took her to the consult, did her photos, x-rays, reviewed the images with the doctor, etc. At the end of it all, come to find out, they don't take my insurance after all. The lady who goes over the finance part of everything already knew that they didn't take my insurance before I even showed up for the appointment. It was in her paperwork. Very inconsiderate to be so wasteful of someone's time, especially knowing I pulled my daughter out of class for this appointment AND I had to leave work for this. They had 4 weeks to call me ahead of time to inform me that they don't take my insurance, and they didn't. The lady at the front desk should have some additional training because she gave me wrong information.
