I found the office staff to be impolite and unprofessional and to actually lie to me. In spite of that, we kind of liked Dr Dymek so we let that slide. In June 2018, one of my incisors broke and I called Dr Dymek's office to schedule an emergency appointment. I was told Dr Dymek did not have any free time that day. I had the staff ask Dr Dymek what to do with a broken tooth and how soon could I be seen. I was told that he would not see me on that day, the practice is closed on Wednesday, and there were no available times on Thursday. I knew I need treatment on Tuesday! I called our previous dentist (group) who immediately had me come in and be successfully treated. Whew! We called Dr Dymek's office and informed them to cancel our next teeth cleaning/exams and to pick up our x-rays as we are leaving Dr Dymek's practice. We wish Dr Dymek well as he seems like a decent dentist who needs better trained office staff.

I received a treatment for a root canal, under a bridge I had previously put in, back in November…read more2023. I was given an insurance estimate and told that there was a $325.00 scan that would be done of my head that is not covered by the insurance. I told the staff during the call I did not want this. On the day of the visit they did it anyways. They also did numerous x-rays of the tooth. I was billed for the scan and the insurance did not cover it! I received an updated bill for another $190 evaluation amount. I have been gathering my paperwork to refute the $325.00 and received a collection notice. I called the office to discuss. I was told today that if I did not do the scan the DDS would not have treated me!! I asked why was I not told about this on the original call. And, there is an issue with my bridge and I need a new one. So this office is billing patients for a service that is NOT approved by the insurance. If they are doing x-rays why do they need a scan of your whole mouth when they are working on pone tooth? Not happy and will not go here again or recommend this office.

Outside of getting use to the various smells that the procedure produced, my experience was that this was easier than having a cavity filled. Dr. Philip Cabrera was wonderful; he was thoughtful and clear with his communication. I have a rare sensory disorder that his team attended to with care and compassion. And, from the time the Novocaine wore off to now, I have had NO pain or swelling!! (I saw Dr. Cabrera at 255 Park Ave #700, Worcester, MA).
