The front desk made no attempt to convey to the dentist that I arrived for the scan, and the dentist asked why I didn't come in at 9 AM. I was then informed that my insurance did not cover them and that I would have to pay out of pocket. This was never clearly explained to me beforehand. What made the experience even worse was being told afterward that I still needed additional CT scans before they could even proceed with the wisdom teeth removal and they said they couldn't even do it today after waiting 2 hours and paying $176. They also said they may need to do additional scans after since I'm past the age of 16 years old and wisdom teeth removal isn't normal after 16, but they KNEW my age when I scheduled this appointment and filled their forms online. I feel like the communication about costs, treatment, insurance coverage, and required imaging should have been handled upfront before making me wait for hours and completing scans that apparently were not sufficient. These people completely wasted my time. The entire incompetency of this office was quite appalling. The front desk also seemed like they didn't care at all and the male dentist was extremely rude and unprofessional. Patients deserve clear information about pricing, insurance, and treatment requirements before services are performed. They already robbed me of $176 dollars and expected $150 out of me just for the CT scans. I expected my wisdom teeth to be removed today but they completely wasted my time and stole $176 dollars from me. Don't waste your time with these people they are rude, unprofessional, and suck at communicating. Absolutely ridiculous! I should have listened to the reviews of this place being a terrible establishment. Go anywhere but here, it will save you time and money. I was honestly happy I didn't have to get my teeth pulled from here just by their attitude and incompetency, it seems like they aren't qualified to do literally anything. I also plan to report them to the Board of Registration in Dentistry and if you had a horrible experience here--you should report them too! It seems like they've gotten away with this type of circus act for way too long.

He was exactly 'on point' in telling me what to expect, and he had it down almost to the hour, including an estimated 45 minute procedure, but also what to expect in the next few hours, including some minor seepage, done by 1 pm. The procedure was at 8 am. He also was very exacting in preparing me properly so that I felt only pressure, no pain. I want to give a 'shout out' to Emma, the very professional front office person. She is always calming, as are the assistants and hygienists. Having had some bad to REALLY bad dental experiences over my long life, ZWELL excels across the board. The original dentist had retired so needed to find a new one. Called Westford Family Dentistry, explained the situation and they got me right in. A couple of other dentists had said it would be a month before they had openings for a non current customer. Once there I was made to feel welcome and relaxed, Dr. Tom (Schofield) put me right at ease and explained what needed to be done, he was able to salvage the old crown saving me another visit. He and the assistant took extra time to make sure I was totally comfortable before procedure. Actually squeezed X-rays and a check up in while waiting for the novocaine to kick in. If you're normally apprehensive about dentists, this is your place. Would highly recommend Dr. Tom and the Team at Westford Family Dentistry. I'm actually going back for a cleaning this week, something I haven't had for years.

My family has been coming here for over a decade. I urged my fiance to come here after a horrifying dental experience elsewhere and he was so impressed. The doxotrs are so patient, detail-oriented, and caring. Unlike many dentists, they are not interested in your money. They are genuinely concerned with your care. Dr. Schofield told me he would take care of my xrays if my insurance did not cover it. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this office, and I recommend Westford Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dentist or a change!

From the ease of making the appointment, to my check in at the office, to x-rays, pictures and cleaning with Donna, to my consult with Dr Wu, it was just great, I felt cared for and respected --- there was NO judging of my neglect of my dental health, they just wanted to help me. Very nice and clean place. They took x-rays first - they use that thing you have to bite on in different poses and move the camera around. I was told that he would not see me on that day, the practice is closed on Wednesday, and there were no available times on Thursday. I knew I need treatment on Tuesday! I called our previous dentist (group) who immediately had me come in and be successfully treated. Whew! We called Dr Dymek's office and informed them to cancel our next teeth cleaning/exams and to pick up our x-rays as we are leaving Dr Dymek's practice.
