The clinic itself was clean and modern, and every visit felt efficient without ever feeling rushed. They tailored the treatment plan to each of our needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I entered the facility and checked in with the receptionist. As a first-time customer, I needed to fill out a form about my skin history. The warm steam blowing in my face made me feel as if I couldn't breathe and she turned it off immediately. The relaxing procedure was over before I knew it. I went to the receptionist desk afterward and was informed of the Refresh Bar & Spa membership for $29/month. I wanted to see how my skin felt as the day progressed before even considering a membership. A few hours later, I was still admiring how my skin looked and how soft it felt. I scheduled a last minute appointment with Claire (my usual esthetician) today. But it turns out she was unavailable and Max was there. I've gotten sugared by her before and wasn't really satisfied with my service as I realized I had a few open cuts / wounds due to the pulling of sensitive, thin skin way down there. So today my service was going well, we were having a great conversation then all of sudden a sugar pull and we both went dead silent for a few minutes. I already knew something went wrong. When we were done I knew I had some cuts down there. When I got home to pee I saw it. My lips looked like it had a big, open, popped pimple in it. And around it was pink and tender, like a cut. This made it difficult to wipe. I would post a picture but due to the area it is at, I am unable to. I would like to speak to a manager regarding this issues because this isn't the first time that's happened to me.
