I must admit, it has taken years to find someone willing to maintain this final resting place. My son recently visited my father's grave and found it half-buried, sideways, and overgrown with grass. He cleaned it as best he could. I contacted the office, expressing my extreme disappointment. Patsy Glenn promptly returned my call. I explained our years of frustration and the deplorable condition of the grounds. Patsy acknowledged some situational challenges but assured me of her commitment to making things right and improving the grounds. She promised to rectify my father's headstone and arrange for its proper cleaning. Patsy fulfilled this promise within a week. Notably, Patsy is relatively new to managing the properties. I recommend contacting her to share your concerns, allowing her the opportunity to address them. If I could rate lower I would. This particular business offered a service to my parents back in 2004 with the understanding that when there was a death in the family they would provide services that were paid for in advance. This past June my father passed away and since then the items mentioned have not been completed. The deceased date plate was not installed in a timely manner (in fact my mother had to look elsewhere to have this completed). My mother was told that it could take up to a year for that to happen. They were not informed of the time services were to be completed at time of purchase. My parents also purchased vases for flowers to be installed next to plots (for over $200). As of the date of my fathers death they still have not been put up. My mother (who is in process of grieving) has been given complete run around by those who work at this business about services that she paid for. As a small business owner myself, I cannot fathom how a company can stay in business all the while not following through on services they sell. In my opinion if you cannot handle how you do business maybe you shouldn't be in business. I would highly encourage anyone considering Gardens of Memory to look elsewhere. read more
