They came out that weekend to give me a free quote, and I felt very comfortable with them. While I was a bit hesitant to do such a big job with a company with few reviews, I selected them based on my like for both Jose and Vera, their very fair quote, and their clear expertise when it comes to landscaping. So, what did I have done? I had the entire front and back yard xeriscaped (see before and after pics I uploaded). They really had their work cut out for them! The yard was a mess with dandelions and a plethora of other weeds, and had really been ripped up thanks to cutting down a few sumacs over the years (and, to be honest, my general disdain for lawn maintenance). No problem for Jazmine's - in just a day and a half they got everything dug out, laid weed cover (the good stuff), planted three trees, and put down all the rock. They were very patient with me in choosing the trees and the rock, and took an immense amount of pride in their work. Jose even came back the next day and added a little mulch around the new trees - I guess what they'd put down the day before wasn't quite up to his standards (even though it certainly met mine!). The whole crew were a delight to have around! Everyone was friendly and professional, working quickly and cleaning up after themselves. I'm guessing some of you have also been hesitant to book Jazmine's for big projects since they're new to Yelp, but I can vouch for them and their work 100%

Our email conversation started with making the appointment to meet. Then Janice asked for a survey, so I sent over the plot plan so she could put together a rough plan as she asked for "must haves" which I sent over same day. That was Thursday. So now it is Sunday, we are at the house, waiting. As time passes we discussed how long we are going to wait etc. My wife tells me I should email Janice, but I told her she is not going to see it if she is driving. At about 11:20 I called Janice, went straight to VM. I called a minute or so later to leave a message, it rang a few times and then went to VM, so I left a voice mail to find out if she was still on the way, to call back to let me know, and I left my number. 6 or 7 minutes later, Janice emails me. WTH? Why can't you return my call?! Let me know you are not going to bother to attend a meeting that was scheduled 5 days ago?! This is what I got in return via email, to my phone calls and voice mail: "Sorry for any confusion this morning. I was going to work on the estimate and concept before we met to make sure my print is in line with your budget." Needless to say, Janice, I will not be calling or emailing you again...

Unprofessional work, safety hazards, and refused to fix mistakes and stand behind their work--do…read morenot recommend. I hired Colorado Native Landscapes last year to reduce weeds in my backyard and reset a rock wall and 'refresh' the area. Unfortunately, the project with the owner,Janice Vogt, was plagued by poor practices and unfulfilled promises. They removed some established plants without permission and never replaced them. Worse, when they took up my existing flagstone--which had been perfectly stable and safe to walk on for 14 years- to lay a new layer of mulch they proceeded to re lay it directly on top of that loose mulch. When I pointed out how unstable this was, she charged me an extra $2,300 to take it all back up again and pack that mulch properly and put a layer of rock for the flagstone to lay upon. This should have been figured into the original bid. Despite the extra fee, the work did not hold up. Now, just less than a year later the stones are shifting, wobbly, and creating severe tripping hazards. As an older homeowner, this is a major safety concern. When I called Janice to come and look at the situation this past month, she did finally agree to come out but then refused to fix it. In the end she used the excuse that she "doesn't normally use the clients material" (something that she'd NEVER mentioned before) and that my flagstone wasn't good. (In the contract itself it says "Colorado Native Landscaping warranties all hardscape materials and 'workmanship' for a period of two (2) years. They cut corners, didn't solve my weed issue, and left me with a hazardous situation in my back yard, which I will have to pay someone else to remedy. Disgusted. Avoid this company. Stay as far as you can from this company and from Cindy, the owner. Zero transparency, zero…read moreprinciples, and zero integrity. As a small business owner myself, I don't take leaving a review like this lightly, but I've had an absolute nightmare of an experience and think it's important for people to know what they're potentially engaging with by hiring this company. After an installation process where things went wrong every step of the way, I discovered that Bloom charged me for 1000 square feet of sod when they only even ordered 592. In light of this, and in light of the fact that I was given an estimate that was $828 over what it should have been earlier in the design process, I told them I would have to see a line-by-line invoice to make sure everything else was charged appropriately. I was assured by Cindy & her operations manager Emilie that I would receive this line-by-line invoice, though Emilie told me they don't like to do line-by-line invoices because then "customers can pick and choose what they want." Huh? Isn't that how the process *should* go? I followed up 3 times over the course of 2 weeks to get the promised information, and in my last communication, after still hearing nothing, I told Cindy if I didn't get the information she promised that I would be forced to file a claim with the BBB. Then things went totally off the rails. She said because of my "threats," she was turning my file over to her attorney. I said I wasn't threatening her, I simply felt I had no other way to proceed when she was refusing to provide information she had promised multiple times. Her attorney then started outright bullying me via email saying he was going to file a lien against my house if I didn't pay. I explained to him there were no grounds to file a lien as I never refused to pay, I was simply waiting for the promised information from Bloom. Furthermore, Bloom had never provided a final walkthrough, which *as specified in their own contract*, is when payment is due. The attorney continued to disregard this information & told me it didn't matter if I was overcharged, it was a "lump sum" contract. Wow. I explained once again that Bloom had promised to provide a line-by-line, and he said he would just let the court decide. I was in such disbelief that I went to Bloom the following Monday with my checkbook to try to sit down with the operations manager, Emilie, and pay the true balance due. Emilie wasn't there, but the rep at the office called her, and Emilie said she would try to reach the accountant & call me back. The office rep asked if I'd like some tea, said "It sounds like this has been really frustrating," and offered me a seat so I could wait for Emilie's call. 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door, and I could hear someone say "We hear there's a disturbance here?" IT WAS THE POLICE. Yes, you read that right -- Instead of having her accountant sit down with me or sitting down with me herself & providing the information she had promised, the owner Cindy had called the police, lied, said I was causing a disturbance which was absolutely untrue, and had me escorted off the premises. And this, again, was when I was *trying* to pay the true balance due! It was totally unbelievable. I went immediately to the BBB to file a claim, which 2 weeks later Bloom has yet to respond to, meanwhile their attorney continues to bully me via email & moved ahead with filing a lien against my home. Cindy is now saying I refused the walkthrough to apparently create grounds for a lien, which is another out-and-out lie. Never in my life would I imagine the owner of a company would behave in such a way. The amount of stress this has brought & sleep I have lost, I can't even say. And all this because Bloom refuses to honor their word & provide the promised information, when I have said every step of the way I am more than happy to pay for what was actually installed. Who *wouldn't* want to see detailed numbers after discovering they had been overcharged? Again, stay as far as you can from Bloom Floralscapes and Cindy, and if anyone you know is considering working with them, tell them to beware. UPDATE 8/15/18: Bloom's attorney is now threatening a defamation lawsuit because of this factual account. That's an interesting way to try to keep people quiet, isn't it? UPDATE 8/21/18 Bloom finally sent 2 reps for the final walkthrough, and *once again* showed up without the promised line-by-line, because "our attorney told us not to." Taking the insanity to the next level, the owner's boyfriend started harassing me on facebook with all sorts of false claims & accusations. I finally just wrote a check to get these people out of my life (and because I was truly concerned that Cindy's boyfriend might vandalize my property, or worse). On principle, I am furious w/ myself for doing this, but couldn't imagine dragging this nonsense out any longer, especially w/ someone who appears to operate with no moral compass.

I got in touch with the owner and within a few days, I met with a designer/planner who asked a lot of questions, listened to me, and delivered a comprehensive design with a map, plant names, placement rationale, itemized costs. He gave me time to research the plants before I signed the contract. A big crew came to my house and spent several days removing existing overgrowth and preparing the soil. The planting, mulch, and rock was done practically before I knew it. Over the first winter, Bloom stayed in touch with advice for caring for the new plants. A designer/planner came in the spring for a thorough examination, ideas, and recommendations about replacing a few plants that hadn't thrived. What I appreciate most about Bloom Floralscapes - besides how much I like the results - is the staff's attention to detail; experienced project management; practical solutions; and ability to stay within budget. I'm grateful for Bloom Floralscapes' commitment to me. I highly recommend this local company for residential landscaping services.

This has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience interacting with a contractor, in…read moremy entire life. I definitely do not recommend. I was referred to Daysi, of Leaves, and contacted her by phone call, initially on Saturday 4/12. She texted me that she'd call me back, I waited, then she never did. Then she asked for my address, via text, without any phone call, consult, or explanation, such that I had no idea what she was going to do with my address. Was she scheduling an in-person walk-through? Was she looking up the size of my backyard, using publicly available information, to approximate the size of my backyard lawn to mow? I truly had no idea, given her poor communication. She also never told me her name, initially, forcing me to do all the work in our communication / endless text chat, which I found unbelievably exhausting. The only reason I stayed the course with her, was because she was recommended by a contractor who I highly trust. I continued waiting, patiently, for her to get her act together, then followed up with her, again, on Friday 5/2, given she'd read my texts, then fail to reply, so - yet again - I did her job for her, and asked her her working days/hours, to facilitate a better response from her. She never replied, or answered this question - directly. It started to become abundantly clear she was never going to call me. I returned back to the contractor who I highly trust, and asked him if he could move things forward with her. He did. 3.5-weeks later, we finally scheduled an in-person walk-through for my grass/lawn mowing, and side yard estimate, for Tue 5/6 at noon. Then it rained that day, and she asked about canceling. I have multiple medical issues, so I didn't want to delay any further. I said, I was still up to meet in the rain, if she was, and I politely offered her an umbrella. We discussed my grass mowing, she told me to name the price - which was also surprising & strange, so I asked my boss for his business case / pricing - then shared it with her, to modify for the size of my yard, which she did, and it was a fair price. She told me she'd send me an estimate, with options, for the side yard. I was expecting a normal estimate, I receive, from my normal contractors. An emailed PDF, with options, like I receive from my HVAC, electrician, plumber, for me to consider, then select, then sign, then schedule, then move forward. What I got instead was an incessant, inefficient, random, inconsistent, stream of texts, in a totally disorganized manner, with multiple photos of unlabeled plants, so of which were not according to my request, or even right for the side yard, per our discussion, and my requirements. Worse? We finally scheduled the lawn aeration, fertilizing, re-seeding, and grass mowing for tomorrow, Fri 5/16, from 8-10am, such that I take off work this entire week, to get a ton of home infrastructure projects completed, including this initial lawn mowing, given I don't trust her, so I want to be focused for the first time. I text her to confirm on Monday 5/12, she reads my texts all week - never responding, then less than 12-hours before our scheduled appointment, she comes up with a lie, that allegedly her equipment won't fit through my gate, when she saw both the gate and knows her equipment during our in-person walk-through over 1-week ago. Something is suspicious, and not adding up. If you want to waste 1-month & 3-days, being disrespected - to your face, and having all your free time wasted, contact this "business". She also never listened to me about requesting rock for the side yard, instead of mulch, or answered my questions about pruning the bushes she recommended, and she only gave me two options, none of which were what we discussed in-person, or what I wanted. This was a truly terrible experience, and one of the most unprofessional experiences with someone alleging to be a business, in my entire life, with time I don't have.
