I can't say enough good things about Gardenia's. First, Gardenia was super friendly and responsive when I scheduled a birthday party with her. Today was the party and we (including our guests) were totally and completely blown away by Gardenia's face painting artistry (bright vibrant colors and intricate designs) and Keiko's balloon animals (not your basic swords and animals... incredible detail). They were a total hit and we can't wait to have another party with them! read more

We had the pleasure of having Kimmi come and paint faces at our son's first birthday party. Gardenia was very professional and quick to respond to questions or concerns leading up to the party. She was not available but made sure that Kimmi would be able to come and paint half or full faces on my guests. She was happy to paint kids and adults and completed around 15-20 faces! She was dressed in a cute, whimsical outfit and made everyone feel comfortable. I will definitely be using Gardenia's face painting services in the future and highly recommend her if you want to bring a fun/magical experience to your party. read more

I hired Gardenia for a community pool party event and she was AMAZING! So friendly, quick and great with the kids. She was prepared with both regular and waterproof face paint and she had tons of designs for the kids to choose from. I originally booked a different company just because they had more reviews and it felt like the safer option to go with a larger, "established company", but I was so wrong. They took forever to respond to emails and I had to constantly ask them to send me an invoice. Gardenia was so kind, professional, and quick. She answered right away, confirmed and sent me my invoice. She made the entire price easy and seamless. Now I know my lesson to support small businesses! You can tell she puts her heart into it and she's passionate about seeing the kids happy and doing phenomenal work. I will definitely hire Gardenia again and highly recommend her for face painting at any event! read more

I found Gardenia through several recommendations on local moms groups. She was right on time, came with a smile and made MORE balloons for the kids than I even thought possible in 1.5 hours! She actually accommodated us last minute when we extended the event by 30 min due to more kiddos RSVPing. She was absolutely wonderful, matched our theme perfectly, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to add some fun to their party! read more

The best! And I should know. We have had 4 different face painter/ balloon artists over the years between my 2 kids birthdays and I have never been so thrilled as to have the same one back... I only wish I had known about Gardenia earlier. First and foremost she was HONEST.. about what time she could show up, about how many kids she could do per hour and when I accidentally overpaid her she handed it back to me!! She will be invited back to every party. She was so fast that every child got a face paint and balloon. She does beautiful paint work I don't know how she does it so fast. We had a jumpy but kids were lining up for her instead. Definitely the hit of the party. Thank you, Gardenia! read more

I found Out about Gardenia through a friend. I hired her for my children's birthday party. She charged for mileage fee since I was located outside of San Marcos which was totally fine with me. I was so amazed and impressed by her work, so were all my guests. She was very personable and came on time and professional all the way down to her equipment. I thought I would be supplying a chair and table for her but she came with everything she needed. I got her package with the face paint and balloon art which I thought was very reasonable. Her work was just so beautiful and we could see how talented she was that she loved what she did, even my daughter said "look mommy she draws perfect snowflakes"! The paints she used isn't some cheap paint that rubs off right after applying like at carnivals. I definitely would recommend her and hire her again. read more

Gardenia made our daughter's 5th birthday unique and special. She is extremely talented, meticulous, patient and very creative. Gardenia arrived well in time and was all setup before the party. She had kids lined up for almost 3 hours and worked nonstop, with a smile. Later I would discover that we were the third event of the day for her ! Each child left feeling as special as the birthday girl. Seeing the beautiful and fun faces, the reluctant ones could not resist. She had packed all her supplies when one shy boy finally approached her. Gardenia unpacked everything and made the cutest rattlesnake on his face. We are thrilled that we discovered Gardenia.
