Our salesperson transferred to a different store and our order was delayed significantly. 2. The project manager, Rob was unprofessional. He was at our home and had a concern, instead of talking to us about it, he had the office call and threaten to suspend the installation. The information the office received wasn't even accurate. 3. Nobody ever came out after the installers left to inspect or ask us if we were happy with the work. 4. They sent us an invoice after the job with an additional charge for laminate removal, which was never performed. 5. Our sales contract indicated that 2 people would be there for the install and would move furniture. I moved almost all the furniture myself and the last 2 days of the install, only one person was here. 6. We were told there would be one person on-site that spoke English at all times. The last 2 days of the install, the sole installer spoke almost no English, which was stressful. 7. Due to the stress and confusion caused by Rob and the office, we will not be using them to install flooring on our second floor. This whole experience was disappointing because they came as so highly recommended. If anyone would be considering having their floors done by this company, I would ensure Rob is not the project manager. After I posted my comments, the sales director reached out to provide a "listening ear". He did acknowledge the issues and apologized. He did seem sincere but nothing was offered to make things right. They offered to come out, look at the finished work and shake my hand.

Huge rip-off! Go somewhere else! I received 4 quotes for a LVF job. Martin's Flooring, Lancaster,…read morewas the second most expensive but I believed their sales pitch about professionalism and guaranteed quality work. From the moment they had my 50% deposit it was downhill. Many delays in getting the work done and when they finally did the install it was rushed shoddy work. In addition to LVF I had them install trim. They used cheap particle board not wood. I took pictures of the poor workmanship and filed my complaint. They sent a person out to evaluate. They agreed to replace the trim but said the floor install was adequate even though they admitted it wasn't the best layout according to manufacturer's recommendations. The second trim install was delayed and again a rushed job but acceptable. Everyone was polite, but overall, I believe they are deceptive and lack integrity. Very disappointing experience in fall of 2021. Mon 1/24/22 spoke with the Showroom Manager. He apologized for the poor experience and said he would use it as a learning tool. The conversation was unproductive and lacked sincerity. I stand by my review.

We are thrilled with the hardwood floor refinishing work done by Kevin Smith Flooring. Randall and…read moreMickey were professional, respectful of our home and easy to work with. Our floors are engineered pecan. The actual wood measures about a quarter inch. Because of this, the work was challenging. Randall explained his entire process to us before the work began. He and Mickey paid attention to every detail from start to finish. Plastic was put up around the sanding areas to limit the dust getting into other parts of the house. A special vacuum was used during the sanding process to keep the area as dust-free as possible. Then the floors were coated twice with a low luster, water-based product and we love the finish better than the shiny floor we had prior. The finished floors are beautiful and make the whole house look like new. I highly recommend Kevin Smith Flooring to refinish your hardwood floors. One of the reasons we chose this company is because floors are all they do. They are knowledgeable about everything hardwood floors. Their work is high quality with reasonable pricing. Randall goes over and above to please the customer. Pictures: All the flooring is going in the same direction. The pictures show the floors in different rooms/different angles. P.S. My location is Lititz, PA. Not sure why it's showing Providence, RI.
