After I ordered the flowers online I had second thoughts about my choice. I called the owner the day before they were to be delivered, hoping to make a change but expecting to be told no. But the owner was very helpful, had great suggestions for me, and made the changes, no problem. The flowers were beautiful! It is a real pleasure to receive personalized service and a beautiful product from a local business! read more

My new Florist !!! When ordering flowers for my wife for our anniversary this year, was surprised to see my local Ashburn Florist did not survive the business end of the pandemic. So going through Yelp reviews, stumbled upon this little gem. Placed my order on-line, the owner called to say that that the color tulip I requested was not available, bad year for tulips, and could he substitute. No problem from me. The results were incredible, even added a few red roses to compliment the beauty of the purple tulips. Delivered on time, I love this place, and will order again soon. read more

Once again, GardeLina comes through with beauty and genuine kindness! My mother lives in Ashburn and every time I send her flowers I only order from GardeLina. They made it really easy this time with three different level of choices and my mother just loves the colors and the arrangement. HIGHLY recommend. Prompt, personal service unlike ANY I've experienced in all my 65 years. No third parties! You'll speak directly with the owner of a longstanding florist located in Sterling VA. Sheikh understands brand integrity which begins by cultivating a trusted relationship with you. Fresh product inventory, prompt delivery, artistry, and value are paramount - which is self evident in their reviews across 10 years of service. He and his dedicated team are committed to serve you with unquestionable loyalty and satisfaction. Sheikh PERSONALLY hand crafted my floral arrangement order which was being sent to a friend who was over 100 years old. This was my first experience with the business. Photos he sent of the gorgeous fall - color rose and sunflower arrangement was breathtaking. GardeLina Flowers is my "go to" floral resource - full stop. Give them a call - they stand ready to serve. read more

Valentines day flowers. They were pretty but despite being ordered in advance they were delivered on the WRONG day! Had to call them and ask where the flowers after they delivered only half of our order and they said they guy would bring it in an hour. An hour went and nothing. Then they called and said by 7pm that night. They called at 7pm and said they guy would come the next day. I was very disappointed with how much we paid for a tea cup flower arrangement. (See photo) $120 for this size arrangement is highway rip off. The lilies smelled nice so they get an extra star but we will not be trusting them again with a flower delivery. read more

This shop deserves more than 5 stars! I was looking online for a place to order flowers for my father who is in the hospital and I came across GardeLina Flowers. I called the shop to ask about an arrangement I saw on their site and Sheikh was so friendly and courteous and offered to take my order over the phone. I ended up with a completely different arrangement than what I originally had in mind based on his recommendations. The arrangement turned out so beautiful and even better than the one I originally had in mind. My father loves birds and the vase had a bird on it and he also included a little bird in the arrangement. Sheikh went above and beyond to make this very special for my dad. When the flowers were delivered, it brought a huge smile to his face! The delivery man was also just as kind and pleasant. If you are looking to order flowers and want top-notch service, this is the place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !! read more

I can't express enough how kind and considerate this florist was. Not to mention creating the most beautiful arrangement in a very sad time for a dear friend. I ordered online from California for my friend in Virginia. I put a note in my online order about the circumstances and that I wanted something bright, big, beautiful and not a typical "sympathy" bouquet. Talk about GREAT customer service! The florist called me by phone (personal touch) in California just to make sure he consulted with me on his idea. I've never had this type of customer service from a online long distance order. My friend said the star gazers and bit of sparkle and glitter added to the arrangement were the most beautiful she's ever seen and she truly felt it was made specifically for her and her loved one. I'd recommended this florist over and over for any florist needs in Virgina! read more

I tried to find the owner's name online but I couldn't. The man who helped me out for my proposal was top notch! Pricing is standard amongst other places. I would rather pay the same amount for high quality vs. cheaper with shipping that ends up being the same price anyway! Totally stole the show with my engagement! Super friendly and knowledgeable with what I needed and went the extra mile to help me. As long as I live down the road I will be back again and again! Also in the Dulles mall, second floor next to Macy's is not a bad location! Perfect example of supporting SMALL BUSINESSES! read more

I was so happy with the way my bridal bouquet, flower crown, flower arrangements and centerpieces turned out for my late spring wedding! GardeLina did an incredible job! They were very flexible. I sat down with Lina and shared my ideas with her and she executed them perfectly. I was going for a rustic/vintage/ethereal theme and the flowers were a huge part of it. I highly recommend using GardeLina for any occasion, but especially for themed parties, since they work with you to reach the vision you have. Here are some photos from the wedding: read more

Outstanding flowers and outstanding service!! I have ordered flowers many times from GardeLIna Flowers and the arrangements have always been spectacular and the flowers seem to last forever. Today the recipient of the flowers wanted something different than I had ordered for a special occasion in her home and GardeLina graciously and with a smile exchanged them for exactly what she wanted (and more). I would never order from anyplace else. read more

I was all set to order flowers to a friend in the hospital and in addition to the $20 delivery fee, which is fine, there was another $9.99 service fee for first time customers ordering online. That's not a way to get first time customers. I didn't place the order. read more

Pictures CANNOT convey my gratitude for the warmth, kindness and empathy that went into this "project!" I nearly forgot my parents' 55th wedding anniversary and called GardeLina for help at 3:39PM on the day of. Mind you, they close at 7pm. Before you judge me, let me explain ... Last year one of my greatest fears came to fruition. My mom was hospitalized during the Covid19 pandemic. Little did I know, this nightmare would be relived two more times, all within six months. It was a cousin who actually reminded me of the anniversary a few days ahead, because she wanted to confirm the date to send a gift. My 77 year old mom has chronic illness and between dialysis and other dr appointments as well as my dad's health challenges and the day to day caregiving, the anniversary celebration simply slipped my mind. So on Friday 2/26 I was scrambling from 9 am - 9 pm to do something special, memorable and to be the best day for both of them but, especially for my mom who is a remarkably resilient woman. Now, let me tell you about GardeLina... Remember the part about calling them at 3:39pm? I didn't place my order until I arrived at the store and talked to Lina in person, about 20-30 minutes later! Had it not been for social distancing I believe she would have given me a big hug. I told her the situation and shared that we don't know how much time my mom has left. "I know I haven't given you much time, but can you please make something special?" I gave her the colors, we looked at a few vases to determine size and she went to work! I arrived at 6:45 pm )just before closing) and she was putting on the finishing touches. What an amazing and beautiful masterpiece! One of, if not the best I've ever seen! My mother was blown away! And that was exactly what I had hoped for! Obviously they can do quick turnarounds. I can only imagine her creativity had she been given even more time. For soooo many reasons, GardeLina is my new favorite florist! Thank you sooo much!! read more

My words go beyond wow! I called and spoke with the florist and he was so wonderful to chat with. I described what I was looking for over the phone and well... let me just say he delivered on point. I am truly amazed about the customer service I received - exceptional! I told him my sister was sick and needed cheering up, and boy was my sister happy when she received the flowers. My sister told me they were the most gorgeous flowers that she has ever seen. The colors made me smile just looking at the photograph she took. In addition, I called to talk with the gentleman and spoke to his wife instead, and she had the same personality. Sweet people I must say! I would highly recommend this flower shop! GardeLina is amazing. We are from New York, and our daughter went to school down south. Instead of coming home during the pandemic, she has stayed with family in Virginia. Customer service here is A+! I was on the hunt for an arrangement for a funeral. GardeLina had by far the best prices. I was between the Touching Tribute Spray and the Sacred Garden. I picked the Sacred Garden even though it was about $30 more, because I felt the Touching Tribute had too much pink & purple. I expressed this to the florist and she said she would swap some of the pink flowers out of the Touching Tribute for some white flowers at no additional cost. I saved a lot of money and got exactly what I wanted! I was so impressed with her attention to what I wanted and not just making the extra money. read more

I highly recommend using this venue for any sort of flowers! Whether its a holiday, like your girlfriends anniversary or mothers day the owner and staff is VERY welcoming. I love the handcrafted arrangements you can select from, or even request a special variation if you wish! Sometimes I will stop by and just buy a single rose...(flown directly in from Argentina) on my way home from work just to show my lady I care :) I recommend calling ahead around the holidays just to be nice, because they will be busy but even then, they will work give you an update on how soon it can be ready! read more

I ordered flowers from GardeLina for Valentine's day. I realize this is a high volume time and when I called they informed me that the vase I wanted was not available, so I can't really fault them for that. Moreover, the flowers did look healthy and nicely arranged, so I can't really fault them for that either. The issue I have is that I paid over $130 after upgrading the bouquet I selected to the premium version which was originally priced at about $90. The arrangement was already supposed to be very large and impressive. The flowers I received were not, they didn't even meet the expectations of the original bouquet. If I had to give a valuation of what I received, I'd put it around the $60 - $70 range. For these reasons, I'm going to give them a mixed review. They obviously have nice flowers and a good eye, however they really did come up short. My recommendation: Go in person and have them put something together there or show you what you can expect to get before ordering. Then, if you are happy, hold them to that standard. I was happy to spend the money for a great bouquet, too bad that's not what I got :( read more
