And tasted more like a fish tartar, what I mean is that they marinated the meat with too much of lemon juice and other ingredients that go better for the fish dishes and covered the flavor of the meat here. I'd put more olive oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and an egg yolk, no any lemon at all. Paella with all peeled seafood was delicious. Good amount of shrimps, fish, mussels, clams and even octopus -all fresh and soft. I think they used not Arborio rice, but it looked like Jasmin rice to me. And added roasted bell peppers gave more aromas to the dish. Filet with a Roquefort sauce was tender and mild, delicate flavor, cooked to our liking - rare. It was served with grilled vegetables. They have a lot of traditional Spanish tapas, such as Pulpo a la gallega (octopus), calamari, manchego cheese, jamon, fuet etc. As well as Mediterranean style main courses: pastas, paellas, fish, seafood, poultry and meat. This restaurant is a chain from Spain that has been opened all over Latin…read moreAmerica and serves montaditos, which are tapa-sized bolillos (rolls of either white or brown bread similar to a baguette but wider) that can be hot, sweet or savory. Fun fact: The word 'montadito' comes from the word 'montar', which means 'to mount' in Spanish. I came to 100 Montaditos because one of my friends used to work here, and she knew of the night discounts they have on Wednesday nights. They have 100 options, thus the name, to pick from and the montaditos are divided into five sections: originals (15 pesos each), specials (25 pesos each), gourmet (30 pesos each), black tagged (35 pesos each), and sweet (35 pesos each). With the Wednesday discount, all montaditos "specials" become 15 pesos instead of 25 pesos. Their beers also have a discount. Try to keep in mind that these are tapas sized. So if you are quite hungry you might need to buy more than five montaditos to fill you up. The environment is relaxed and most of their customers are young adults; this might also be affected that is located in colonia La Condesa, so no matter how late it might seem, the restaurant is usually lively until past midnight. This is a great place to come if you aren't hungry and just want small bocadillos (meaning bite-size appetizers/snacks) after work or have time to grab a beer with friends. Their beers are good, but I recommend getting their tinto de verano (cold, red wine-based drink with either sprite or fanta), calimocho (cold, red wine-based with coke) or sangria. If you have a preference of white wine, the drink is called Blanco de Verano. The five montaditos I ordered were: 1. Squid in ink with aioli 2. Smoked salmon with cream cheese 3. Blue cheese, with tomato and honeyed mustard 4. Chorizo in olive oil 5. Cream cheese with quince cheese (sweet, thick jelly made of the pulp of the quince fruit) All of them were good, but number 1 and 3 can be quite strong flavored if you have more of a soft palate. I have also heard that their sweet options are also very delicious. To give you an idea, I paid almost 100 pesos, including tip, for five montaditos and a drink. The waiters were friendly and very helpful to answer any questions. Parking isn't easy but the restaurant is located close to the Sonora stop of the Metrobus. It's not the greatest restaurant, but it is a decent place to stop by if you want a small snack.

The staff there recommended this place, which sat less than 10 minutes away via uber. When we got here, we found a bar and grill with a lively presence. Most of the patrons were locals of Polanco. We were able to find seating despite the place being busy. We sat on one of the outside tables, and ordered drinks and coffee while we decided what to order. We decided to get a cold cut platter, which we ended up regretting. It was not appetizing at all, and I recommend steering clear from it. The girlfriend ordered some shrimp, which was so-so. My order, the hamburger with fries, was the best tasting. The burger was done well, and the fries were very tasty. The coffee hit as expected. The girlfriend ordered an apperol, but she did not like it due to it being overly sour. She opted for a different drink, which she found it ok. I have to dock several stars because the service was very slow, even for a busy place. They had us waiting for along time, and no they were not understaffed. This, and the fact that my order was the only delicious plate out of everything we ordered, makes this a 2-star rating. They need to work on their timeliness, not prep the shrimp to blandly, and cut the cold cut platter out of their menu completely, then they'd be on the road to improvement.
