First visit we tried Tacos, tamales, queso with chips and a burrito. First I wished I paid more attention in Spanish class. We came in late and the super sweet little old Spanish lady put up with us gringos like we were familia. Luckily I could point at a picture. Food came out in waves. Steak tacos came first and very traditional but packed with tons of flavor. It had a mild green sauce that was tasty. Next the pork tamales were a favorite of my wife. She pretty much scarfed 2 and I got one bite. From what I did taste it was good. Then came my 5 star of the night the steak burrito. The steak is cut up into little pieces and cooked where it's tender but has that little crust that gives it some bite. It has a little bit of everything cheese, rice and beans a few pickled jalapeños little bit of lettuce and big pile of steak. It's the kind of burrito that puts the chain restaurants to shame. Now, this restaurant is absolutely hopping every night just about. On weekends, it's full of large crowds of happy people, amazing food, and a staff that's truly up to the challenge. I've never had an order mixed up here, and never had a rude waiter or waitress. I've been here perhaps more times than I can count over the years, and the taste never changes. It also, incidentally remains one of the only restaurants in town that my mother can consistently eat at with all her stomach issues. It's clean, it's delicious, and friendly. My personal favorites to order are the Fajita Texas, Pineapple Fajita Texas, the Super Taco Salad, and the House Special.
