One of the eye sensors had been bumped off of the side of the garage rails causing the door to jam and not go down automatically anymore. The service man was very angry with me for not knowing to check that problem before calling him and said I should have known to check that myself. He was very rude and treated me like I was really stupid. I am not a garage door expert and I didn't know this was something to check. I really didn't appreciate this kind of treatment. Maybe next time the service call person will be more considerate of the way they treat their clients who are in a jam.

First of all, I had searched for new springs and found that, along with other steel products, they were in short supply at the usual home improvement stores. Rick had the springs that we needed in stock. He worked diligently until the springs were installed, the new opener was installed, and everything was working well. He even programmed my wife's car to open the garage door with the push of a button. He actually tried to get the old opener to work in order to save us the cost of the new one and the installation. The old one turned out to be shot, so Rick installed the new one. We were very satisfied with Rick's services and are very happy to recommend him to anyone with garage door issues.
