7/13/23 Since this…read morepast June ( In 2023),  I and my colleagues have been stopping at this station. The closures of Dunn Lorring Metro Station is the main reason for this.   I have watched this area transform from what the area use to look like.  I see high rise apartments  along with businesses like The MITRE Corporation, Northrop Grumman  and The Archer Hotel which use to be a Hilton Hotel. The Sushi Umi store has been there since 2018 and I do not believe the restaurant ever opened.  Please correct me if I am wrong. The McLean Metro stop from what I saw today look clean and well maintained.   The escalator steps were the only thing that looked worn and scuffed up from heavy traffic...as it should be. I saw the cost of getting a day pass is still 10 bucks with $8.00 dollars being credited to your Smartcard.  I saw the new prices for Rush Hours and Non-Rush have changed in price.  Now Non-Rush Hour's price is  $2.00.  I failed to take a picture of the new time prices, but a least you know the Now rush hour time  starts at 5:00am ends at 9:30am.   Rush Hour starts up again at 3:00pm and ends at 7:00pm. I did not get to the top of the subway area, but I will another time.  Nevertheless, I enjoyed seeing the new area of Tyson's Corner from the Metro Station.  I will be sure to ride the Silverline  from start to finish some time on Saturday in the distant future.   Maybe even stop by and visit Relaxation Station  at Weaton Mall. We will see.

The food court has such a good variety of cuisines which alone is worth the trip there. Decorations are always beautiful. They have interesting community events, such as live music, contests, and Christmas tree lighting. The directories are very helpful. The movie theater is convenient. You can exercise there in the mornings. The bathrooms are usually clean. The best times to go there are usually on the week days or early Sunday morning.

However, on a recent trip coming back home, I made my way here to kill some time as I had the day off from work. First things first, what a nightmare to find a parking spot and to not get run over by traversing the parking area. I thought I had gone the wrong way at one point to find a spot. And when I did find a spot I was confused and thought I had to pay to park. I wish it were just easily marked on where to go here. Once parked, I found my way inside and just meandered around the space. Popping in an out of stores as I saw appealing. They really do have a ton of selections here. Huge amount of time can be lost here if you are on a time crunch. I was in no rush, so I wandered around until I had my fill of the space. My suggestion to you. Come early in the morning, you will definitely be able to get in and out of each store you need to with ample time. Less hassle in the parking lot. And less hassle walking between stores. Or, if you are up for it, travel here by Metro.

Parking was challenging and treacherous--every spot was full despite it being a weekday morning, and people were pulling out from in front of the store right into the lane for drive-thru letter drop off. Once I got inside, the box for prepaid mail was locked, presumably because it was full. There was a line of almost 10 customers waiting, with only two busy employees doing their best to handle the queue. I left my boxes in a pile on the front counter with other prepaid mail. But I honestly considered leaving and going to another post office, because everything here seemed so disorganized.

Whether you want a Dior, David Yurman jewelry or LV bag.. you can get it here in one go. Neuman Marcus and Saks are the two department stores in the mall. 2. It's been a full week since reviewing a public parking garage and after a flood of feverish requests for more, here ya go. LOL I was sooo super stoked about this parking garage. Never mind that there is a mess of construction just a little outside of the garage, the inside of the garage is spacious, clean, well lit and most importantly, easy to navigate. No questioning where is in and out. No risk of being stuck in there all night. Just simple, pimple. On top of that, the most amazing part was when I went to pay at the machine with my ticket, and after parking for 8 hrs my total was only $6?!? I don't know of any other public garages in the area where you can park that long for so cheap! That works out to like, $0.75 an hour! What a deal. At this rate, maybe I could become the Yelp Public Parking Garage Official? Sexy isn't it?

There's traffic! So much bumper to bumper traffic! However now I can save my wear and tear on my car. Its about an hour ride. Which is fine by me. There's a lot stores and shopping centers nearby besides Tysons Mall. The station is well lit and has pedestrian bridge. Now I can visit my VA friends more ! Only downside is riding metro ain't cheap. Can you believe rush hour ends at 9pm?!!! However its cheap to ride the metro on the weekend.

I wish they'd update the look. Also some good retailers would help. The markings of the parking lot aren't sufficient. In many ways this reminds me of the former Soviet Union. To each their own, but be wary of the fast drivers that Mclean is famous for. I rarely go here, and am happy other spots have better choices.
