Disappointed in this Gap Outlet Store!
My friend and I used to frequent the Gap Factory Store in Calabasas, California, when we would travel to and from concerts. There, in CA, it was a great opportunity to "stock up" on staples like stud earrings, jean shorts, basic t-shirts, and basic long sleeve tees. Imagine my excitement when I saw that Settlers Green had a Gap Factory Store! At long last, I could stock pile some basics, of which my current rotation was heavily worn and approaching threadbare.
Alas, it was not meant to be. I wandered the store, noticing it was unusually small-- while the Women's section was certainly the largest, it had to share this tiny footprint with Kids' and Men's clothing, too. Surprisingly, across the entire store, I only found one measly display of short sleeve t-shirts that caught my eye. I picked up a couple to try on, and decided to purchase two. Two. Measly. T-shirts.
The prices, as others have mentioned, do not really reflect "Outlet" discounts. The t-shirts I purchased seemed to be regular/original price ($10? So maybe a couple dollars off?).
Overall, I'd say that the savings you earn shopping here at this Gap Factory Store are paltry, compared to the deep, deep discounts of some of the other stores at Settlers Green. Save a tenner and use it toward a really cute skirt from Banana Republic (also an Old Navy/Gap brand). read more
