WARNING. Girl with pink streak (who is American) and her boyfriend (who also works at FUA) are completely disrespectful and rude. After having a few meals here, I have recognized these two very well. I was appalled by the actions and words I heard from their mouths. I am a student from the U.S. who is studying abroad at FUA. Initially, I was so excited to come here and learn more about the Italian culture and studying in a country that is so popular and valued so highly. I spent so much money and effort to come here and they made me feel like I was a worthless American. I understand our cultures are different, but that should NOT be an excuse to make me (and my 12 other classmates) feel so inferior. We went to dinner at Mister Pizza, and the two FUA employees were there as well. The minute we entered into the building, they began to talk to the Mister Pizza employees and started laughing and making fun of us in Italian. I looked over and asked why they were being this this way, and the FUA employee with pink streak said "Stop brushing my a** with your fu**ing rose". She continually kept repeating that, after I apologized that my flower brushed her while I was putting my wallet away in my purse. As I apologized and told her it was an accident, her and her boyfriend and the rest of the Mister Pizza employees did not stop laughing and saying rude comments about us. I am fluent in Spanish, therefore I can pick up on Italian and truthfully I have NEVER felt so inferior before. Just because I am American, DOES NOT mean I (and all of my classmates) can be treated that way. What made me more frustrated was that the woman employee from FUAx was from America. Also, as one of my classmates was standing up for me, the man puffed up his chest and stood up to her, like he was going to fight her. The whole altercation was inappropriate and completely unprofessional. As an international FUA student, I feel unwanted. This is so disheartening, considering I have been planning this trip for many months. I at least expected the staff of Ganzo (and FUA) to be respectful of my classmates and I. read more
