If you've gotten tired of hanging out in popular coffee shops that pepper Salcedo Village in Makati, you might want to try Gangnam Style. Most customers of this café take their snacks and drinks for take-out so there are plenty of seats and tables available, especially in the afternoon. Although their seats are not plush or comfortable, they're good enough if you only plan to stay for just a couple of hours.
They serve coffee, sandwiches, omelettes, and kimbap (a Korean version of sushi). I usually order bagel with butter and iced tea when I'm here because I love this bread and this is actually the cheapest meal available. Another good reason to visit this place is their Korean ice cream. Yes, they have Melona!
The restaurant is clean and the attendants are friendly. But oftentimes, the service can be quite slow. If you find a long queue in front of the cashier, just look for another place to eat in if you are in a hurry. read more
