The staff walks you through the whole process, gets you geared up with the VR equipment, and explains how the game works before you jump in. Once the game starts, it really feels like you're inside the action. You can see the people in your group, move around freely, and work together during the mission. Way more realistic than regular VR. Felt like I was fighting for my life. I went with a group of 5 and we had a great time. It definitely brings out everyone's competitive side. The staff was cool but the only thing that pissed me off was the drive to Jersey made us late because of the traffic so we was 15 mins late. They wouldn't take us so we had to come back hours later. I was pissed..helpful the entire time. Also a downside is it goes by quick, but that's mainly because you're having so much fun. Overall, it's a great experience.

I'm a casual gamer, but brand new to VR, so it took a good 15min of my hour timeslot to get used to handling the controls and navigating the menu. I kept on getting really excited and asking all these random questions and there was always someone on their helpful staff to answer them. I can tell they get asked alot of the same things by different people. And there's so much to try! Our party did multiplayer co-op campaigns (shooting arrows at ogres) as well as explored our own interests (ninjaing fruit, swinging golf clubs, falling off planks, similating a vacation, flying though google earth maps). I think there's over 50 options to choose from, and from at least what I've tried, are all high quality games. Although each uses the controls a slightly different way (e.g. one game might need a button click to pick up an object while another needed you to raise your hand up and down), and some games were not always beginner friendly. The multiplayers were also a bit difficult to coordinate and may have been better if our VR stations were closer together. We also tried their 4D locomotion zone and opted for a racing game. The seats really do shift pretty intensely in all directions and you can feel the wind in your face. I didn't feel like the controls were very responsive and definitely felt motion sick after 2 laps. Probably because I'm old and sensitive to vertigo but I would not do again. The area itself is spacious and clean and fun. Screens everywhere, rainbow lights on electronics, artsy wallpaper that illustrates a world with angry birds & alice in wonderland & rocky balboa & a giant shark with jaws, but in a very natural way. They also have benches and coat racks (and should consider shelf/safe space for handbags) and even cocktail tables for catering or events. All in all they have 20ish stations and seems popular with walk-ins, at least on the saturday morning we were there. I am definitely looking into planning a future event here!

The place is surprisingly loud when you first walk in. Players are shouting, screaming and fully immersed in the games, but once it was our turn, we understood why! After gearing up and watching a quick tutorial, we jumped into 30 mins of non-stop action in the Deadwood Mansion game. It had all of us moving the entire time. I walked out dripping sweat and slightly out of breath. For any germaphobes, dont worry! The staff sanitizes all equipment between sessions. Didn't play but I watched some family members do- seems good for family fun. Reminded me of home motion- sensor games but here, you have 3 walls with screens. There is a small room for a party with a couch area and 3 high tops, some folding chairs. Pizza was bready and fries weren't very good. Can bring own party food and supplies, though they provided plates, napkins and cups. Restrooms available - ladies room was wheelchair accessible; sink was clogged though. I heard the men's room sink had the same problem. Located in the Palisades Center - free parking, have food options and can do some shopping.
