Their employees used deceitful and unethical practices to automatically sign me up up for a memberships renewal Idid not consent to via assumptive sales tactics. Meaning they will assume you want a service or product such as Memberships and warranties and will sign you up for it unless you explicitly state that you don't want a renewal AND correctly navigate their obfuscated pin-pad options to ensure your are not automatically signed up. If you have ever gotten an auto-renewal charge for gamestop that you know you didn't sign up for, it's because an employee at a store like this one signed you up for it without your consent or hid the renewal in their rushed pin-pad prompts. They did exactly this to my family at this location and then tried to hide their district manager's information from me when I called to complain (though it was easy enough to find online anyway). They even automatically saved my card info so they could auto renew without my consent. read more

2 stars for Michelle who was an absolute trooper helping us when she was the only one working. That said we are done with GameStop. Reserved/paid for 2 games online with our gift cards for store pick up on Saturday. Came back with a payment error but no way to fix the payment or even tell us what was wrong. Called the store and confirmed the games were there but no order came through. They could hold the games for us for an hour or so if we showed up, thinking maybe the system was just stuck. Drove an hour or so to find one employee working with a growing line of disgruntled customers. Luckily we were fairly early in line but there was nothing Michelle could do for us after exhausting all her resources. She gave us the store help number to call as she tried to handle the rest of the crowd. After an hour and a half on the phone we finally narrowed it down to a gift card glitch, canceled our order and just bought the games outright with the refunded balance. After this we're done with GameStop. I hope Michelle got some help after we left because multiple people were giving her problems about why it was taking so long. Shame on GameStop for treating their customers and employees like dirt. read more

I won a smash tournament there. I was 11 and everyokne else was adults. I'm him. And I also won a cool Cubone Pokémon plush there! Much cool

Poor management skills and disrespectful managers. I've requested a call from district manager Ryan K for over one and a half months and still nothing, not even an email read more

This game stop is seriously the best one I've ever been to! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. You can tell they are there because they are just as passionate about games as you are. They will even suggest games you may like based on ones you are already picking up. Thats how I found one of my favorite games! This location is always worth checking out if you are in the area. read more

Had the honor of meeting Vince this evening great employee. This store is the capital of stores in the area. Huge store with a big selection. Don't buy video games with the plans of getting your money back or making more than you spent down the road very rarely do video games gain value. The one thing I have a right to be down right pissed off about is the fact that Red Lion Pa dose not have a game stop. I can think of two locations now that gamestop could open up in. read more

It's a good game store. You can trade in old for cash or store credit. Also make reservations on new games coming out. Staff is very knowledgable about their products. read more

This place is absolutely ridiculous! I understand that the PS5 is a hot item right now and in high demand but to not post on your door or some other way to let people know that you only have 2 consoles in stock on Black Friday is nuts. My son and his friends were in line for 14 hours waiting for this place to open at 7 am only to find out they had 2 when all this place had to do so the boys didn't waste their time was post on the doors how many were available! Unbelievable is all that can be said. read more

Stopped on by the York location to trade in some old games during the very limited "50% bonus" promotion they were running. So much for that idea, as I got hit with a hidden "Refurb fee" for every disc I was trading in. The cashier didn't mention this fee to me, I only noticed in when looking at the screen where you swipe your card. I can only imagine how many hidden fees this Gamestop adds on to children and parents who shop there and are too busy/distracted to notice! When I asked why I was hit with this unannounced, unverified charge, the employee said that they charge a fee for any game that's disc only "because we're out of cases for them". I know a liar when I see one, so I took my games back and left the store. I called Gamestop corporate and asked why the E. Market location would try to sneak this fee in, when I never experienced this before with other Gamestops. The rep said they had no idea, that this was completely unacceptable, and that they would be contacting the store. BUYER (AND SELLER) BEWARE! read more
