To my confused and shocked self, the girl (long black/dark brown hair with big eyes) told me that I never ordered a pretzel. So your telling me I paid 8.50 for a tall drink? If that's the case then this is way overpriced for not even a good drink. I got scammed and I felt ashamed and embarrassed in public and I will never be coming back.

Unfortunately, this location lacks outlets, too. Also, there isn't any comfy seating and tables through out the store. (The cafe has a few tables and hard chairs.) I suppose it is a reflection of the B&N model change- they want you to peruse, buy, and leave wanting more. I found the store to be bright and uncluttered, with a nice selection of items in several areas. I didn't find any Halloween clearance that was to my liking unfortunately but did find a fall welcome mat that was quite cheap and a Christmas gift that was similarly inexpensive. Just a couple areas for improvement: No self-checkout option here, which would have come in handy as the line to checkout was fairly long this day. There were several people at Customer Service that did not have customers, though finally someone did come over to assist the two cashiers. Also, the cashier did not ask me for coupons and I didn't remember that there was a 20% off promotion going on at the time. While it likely would have been less than a dollar, I work too hard for my money to give it away!

I usually refrain from writing reviews based on one person but she continues to be rude and unpleasant to work with. Today as I was walking away, visibly upset but did nothing to her since it wasn't her fault, I hear someone cackling and then 'well it's not my fault'. Okay, we get it but nobody blamed you. So in return as I was frustrated I responded back with 'maybe it is'. This was a breaking point as she's been very unhelpful and genuinely awful to be around on a number of occasions. Most likely will be switching pharmacies after basically using Walgreens for my entire life.

Over the last few years I have developed a relationship with the staff and they know my love for the Golden Girls, so when I pop in it is to see if there is any new Golden Girls merchandise in stock. Last night I received a voicemail from an employee informing me some Golden Girls items were back in stock and wanted to know if I had them and wanted them if I didn't. I stopped in tonight and was greeted by another employee by my name and informed me of the new Golden Girls items they ordered and were excited to show me when they came in. Again, I don't come here often but when I do I feel like more then a person that "just buys stuff". I am treated wonderfully. Thank you Steve and Liz and the rest of the staff for being you.
