Even with the slight chatter in the background as I study is not a distraction in comparison to if I was in a different setting. The vibe is always unmatched here to me. I get a lot of work accomplished here. There's a wide variety of books and periodicals here as well for all readers (if we didn't know that already lol). I just love this place!!

It is a little hard to find (Hense the Secret) but look for Rockin Cat Cafe and its to the left, up a flight of steps. I didn't see any disabled entrances, so keep that in mind if you visit and need accommodations. The shop is quiet but the woman who helped us was pleasant and answered any questions we had. They had anime music playing in the background but not so loud that it was overbearing. Price wise it's on par with Barnes and Noble and 2nd Charles but the selection is much better and varied/unique. I ended up just buying a good luck charm but plan to visit again when we're in the area.

This location is great when we are headed toward Ross Park Mall.. except for the giant hill of an entryway that... denoted by the scratches in the pavement... has removed a good number of bumpers! Sooooo... we are excited that they are relocating down the road. Still... shelves upon shelves of meticulously curated categories with sub categories and alphabetized authors.... Maybe we love this because we are both such detail oriented people! My wife and I love to remember our favorite authors and hunt down where they are. We spend far too many minutes sitting on the floors of the sections thumbing through shelves and pages. My husband felt interested in looking at books about software and gaming. He saw some books that he liked. However, he saw one book that he already owns and that he said was not worth the $75 price tag. Otherwise, I felt interested in the books about photography, film, pets, and the social sciences. This store has many other sections of books, including home repair, interior design, gardening, fashion, architecture, cooking, history, science, travel, language, crime, children's, etcetera. Some books are collectibles such as first editions and signed copies. This store also sells calendars, greeting cards, board games, and more. I will give a neutral rating for this physical store, because the business's website has a significantly larger selection of merchandise that is available for shipping.
