This was actually the only one store that has Pokemon cards in the store while other places are always no cards left at store! If you have a monthly membership you get to have a pack for a dollar!! I stopped by today to exchange my remote, and Leo (I believe he's the manager) was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue that corporate customer service refused to assist with--despite it stemming from a policy change that was never communicated to customers. Leo's kindness and dedication truly stood out, and I'm very grateful for his support. GameStop, please take note: if you update your warranty policies, make sure to notify customers--whether through email or with a system note tied to their purchase. I came really excited to look around and happen to run into the item I wanted by chance, the employee Alex had some type of attitude when I came up to the cash register. He said "let me guess you are here for this" and I said no actually here for that and pointed behind him. He turns around huffs and puffs with attitude and proceeds to be very bothered. If the guy hates his job then why be there is you have to provide customer service. I would rather go somewhere else than this location. read more

I've been in the GameStop location more than a few times. It's located in the Pearland Town Center outdoor mall. Stopped in this week to have a look around and maybe preorder something that's being released later this year, a Funko Pop, much to the disappoint of my wife. The employee working that day, Catherine, was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable about the products I was interested in, happy to discuss them. Customer service is a huge thing for me, and she has outstanding skills in customer service. I'm not into video games, more into the collectible toys. This location has an ample selection of both plus so much more. There are many GameStop locations out there, I think I'm going to stick to this one! read more

This store is absolutely terrible I came in to pick up my preorder and the asian man in the front pretended I wasn't waiting in front the register for over twenty minutes even after asking if he would just do his job and process payment for the remaining amount on my preorder .. he sighed and responded with "I guess" .. is this what they pay him for? On Sunday, 12/26/2021, my husband ordered a Nintendo Switch OLED. We got the confirmation that it was ready, but when we went to pick it up, they had given it to someone else. The assistant manager then told us that there were some at the GameStop at Baybrook Mall, but he can't reserve a unit for us. He also told us that the Baybrook store closes in 10 mins, when it closed in an hour. We ran over to get one that night at Baybrook and immediately called Jon to cancel our order, but he couldn't. The next day, we called again, and he said that the order was canceled. Except now we found an email from GameStop saying that our order was picked up and we got charged for it. We called this GameStop again, and was told to call customer service, who told us to have the GameStop location contact them. We left a message for the manager yesterday morning, who still hasn't called us back yet. Good job, GameStop. read more
