Today I came by to visit and there was a sign on the door saying they were closed from 2pm to 5:30pm. Oh how I wish I could've done that when I worked at GameStop many years ago! Just know that that if you happen to be in the area and want to stop by that it's a pretty mixed bag on whether or not they will be open.

Located just past the midway point center of the mall. GameStop is your traditional video game store. New games and systems are all priced the same everywhere you go so can't really compare prices. But they always have a pretty good stock and they do offer used games at what one would call fair prices. They also accept trade in for in store credits (not fair values but not video game store is). They have a GameStop rewards program as well that you can earn points and things on. This particular location is a tad bit on the small side versus there large retail stores as it is a mall location. However it isn't very cluttered and as mentioned usually has stock on all popular games and systems. Overall solid long time staple of the Jefferson mall. I can remember browsing for Nintendo 64 and PlayStation one games in my pre teen years here. So it holds some nostalgia for me.

On some occasions I have paused at the Starbucks cafe. Two years ago it was a common spot to be with my son as he applied for college scholarships. I can't imagine the number of books the store holds. Every category outlined and clearly marked. Other items to buy include calendars, journals, music, home decor, writing supplies, games, Legos, toys, magazines, and more. I watched several people walking around with 2-3 books in hand. A featured author was also visiting and speaking with customers about their new book. Associates restocked books and helped customers. Labor Day weekend included several tables of books marked at 50% off. Others are comparable prices and you'll always find aisles of marked down books. Unsure what to buy? Pick up a gift card.
