I have been a book-o-phile since I was two or 3 so Barnes and Noble is someplace I could go to…read morespend hours of my day and tons of money if I had it to spend! The last time I was there I looked into their electronic reader, the nook, which is similar but better (IMO) than the Kindle offered by Amazon. A salesperson took 20+ minutes to answer all our questions and showed us many different features. I was impressed with not only the device, but her knowledge and the time she took. Cam asked if they worked on a commission basis with the nook and she said, "No," so the time she spent was time she could have used to do other things. The books are wonderfully arranged and their magazine area dwarfs many other bookstores in which I've shopped. In that section alone I have spent 2-3 hours and had to be dragged away by my patient spouse. I delight in the Children's Area - decorated in an inviting way, where children can sit and read whilst parents peruse and no one speaks against it. I am not one for allowing my children to run around when shopping and have tried to instill respect in others, so finding an area so welcoming for children is wonderful! This location has a Starbucks Coffee and it smells wonderful! Small tables in that part of the store beckon one to grab a paper, sit with a cup of java, and leisurely enjoy the day. I have seen Godiva chocolates offered there, too, and have successfully avoided purchasing them as my waistline doesn't need them! I usually choose to sit in one of the immensely comfy chairs or couches around the store. There is a restroom in the northwest corner should the need arise. This is a wonderful store at which I would spend more time and money if I could! There is always a great selection of bookmarks, journals, gifts and card for just the right gift! Should you be unsure of a gift you can always buy a gift card!

It was a simple oversight on my part for which I apologized for. However, the store manager and 2 employees who were "helping" me were so rude and snarky, making me feel like I was trying to pull one over one them. Especially the Store Manager who was unbelievably rude. I've had multiple bad experiences in the store in the past, but have always returned in an effort to "shop local" vs buying from my Amazon Prime account. Unfortunately today was the final straw.

I have brought in items that still have THEIR tag on it and they still find something wrong with it. Like if there was something wrong with it in the first place why was it put on the sales floor??? I've also brought in items and they clam they had pet hair on them, yet I have no pets and the items were laundered before trying to trade them in. The younger girls have quite the attitude. And the owner really doesn't have a clue how her employees act when she's not around. The concept of being able to trade your gently used stuff is a great concept, but there's always a road block and always something wrong with your items every time you go. I would suggest donating your items to a good cause such as Toby's House, and I'm on the fence about spending money there just because the customer service and judgement of you totally fine items. I would rather support another business instead. Oh yeah, not to mention, some of the prices on their stuff is outrageous for used items.

Odd I go back to this AT&T and walk in, ask him if there's any reason my phone stopped working. He said he moved everything over already WITHOUT telling me a thing! Oh... And charged my account $1099 for the phone with absolutely no authorization. I asked him if he was gonna give me a heads up or anything and he got very defensive clearly focused on getting his commission. After another ten minutes he reluctantly reactivates my phone and refunds the $1099. I asked his name, mark. Mark what? "You don't need to know that" he replies like customer service is exempt. GARBAGE customer service, garbage attitude, garbage employee. Will definitely be going to Verizon now. Mark K.
