Awful. I was in line and the one and only checker offered customers to go to self check-out. I…read moredeclined - I will NOT do your job for you and will happily wait. When the employee was checking out my items, I noticed she scanned 3 items twice. I caught the error and asked her to please correct it. The employee was frustrated and upset, and made it worse by removing the wrong items. I asked to please void the sale and start over. I'm not about to over pay for items and you should be able to do your job. Accidents happen, but you should not get mad at the customer because of your continued errors. The employee again told me I could check out myself. I let her know that if she offers that again, I would no longer shop here and please just ring up the items correctly. Then she didn't even bag the items correctly or left some in aged all together. I'll always be a fan of Hobby Lobby and take my business there going forward. Michael's - you have the WORST service!

I have been a book-o-phile since I was two or 3 so Barnes and Noble is someplace I could go to…read morespend hours of my day and tons of money if I had it to spend! The last time I was there I looked into their electronic reader, the nook, which is similar but better (IMO) than the Kindle offered by Amazon. A salesperson took 20+ minutes to answer all our questions and showed us many different features. I was impressed with not only the device, but her knowledge and the time she took. Cam asked if they worked on a commission basis with the nook and she said, "No," so the time she spent was time she could have used to do other things. The books are wonderfully arranged and their magazine area dwarfs many other bookstores in which I've shopped. In that section alone I have spent 2-3 hours and had to be dragged away by my patient spouse. I delight in the Children's Area - decorated in an inviting way, where children can sit and read whilst parents peruse and no one speaks against it. I am not one for allowing my children to run around when shopping and have tried to instill respect in others, so finding an area so welcoming for children is wonderful! This location has a Starbucks Coffee and it smells wonderful! Small tables in that part of the store beckon one to grab a paper, sit with a cup of java, and leisurely enjoy the day. I have seen Godiva chocolates offered there, too, and have successfully avoided purchasing them as my waistline doesn't need them! I usually choose to sit in one of the immensely comfy chairs or couches around the store. There is a restroom in the northwest corner should the need arise. This is a wonderful store at which I would spend more time and money if I could! There is always a great selection of bookmarks, journals, gifts and card for just the right gift! Should you be unsure of a gift you can always buy a gift card!

However, the store manager and 2 employees who were "helping" me were so rude and snarky, making me feel like I was trying to pull one over one them. Last week, I bought my grandson an "indestructible" remote control helicopter (for $39) which apparently had a broken rotor right out of the box. He was so excited to play with it so you can imagine his disappointment that it couldn't even be fixed. Unfortunately we misplaced the receipt, and when the gal scanned the packaging, she offered me an in store credit of $1.99, saying that's what happens if you don't return it within a month. They didn't believe I bought it the week before, didn't scan my credit card to see the date of payment, or offer any help at all. Needless to say, I left the garbage toy and the $1.99 at the register. I should have known better. This Ross is junky- more like a garage sale than a retail store. Don't shop here.
