And talk to someone in person who is really knowledgable about the movies as well is really great. Despite the size of the store, there really is a WIDE selection of movies! Dont let the name fool you there are many kinds of movies available. I hadn't been in since before covid, but a friend recently reminded me of this cool little spot recently. I am so happy he has thus far survived covid lock down. It is really great to be able to support truly local shops. If you want to rent a movie please consider going to support this cool little shop verses a red box. Its only $3 to rent a movie for 3 nights. If you have not been in yet, go in and take a peek and rent a movie and let others know about this cool local place.

The box has a sale sticker on it and the price said $25.19. I was curious how much it used to be and pulled the sticker back to see that it said $23.79. So, clearly it wasn't on sale, they actually raised the price. The gentleman at the counter claimed that pulling the SALE sticker off looked bad. He couldn't offer any other explanation. Interesting. I'll post pics in the comments.

I look up how much I should get for a game sale, etc.. That being said, I always get what I expect. I know people don't necessarily get the returns they expect but that is a corporation decision. I don't believe it is up to the local store. As a frequent game-buyer, I understand that. For me, it is still better than selling through EBay due to the fees.

I ordered an Xbox One S online on 11/3 and received it on 11/6 (since I paid a ton for overnight shipping) and immediately the controller was unresponsive and the joysticks were all screwy so after trying to re-sync the controller to the Xbox I called GameStop. They told me that they couldn't exchange the controller alone but the whole Xbox needed to be returned and that I couldn't return it to a store (lie). I asked how long it would take for the return once they received the defective one and I was told 24-48 hours. Immediately shipped it back and they received it Thursday 11/8 so I called them Friday and was told I would get a tracking number Friday at end of business. Called Sunday and was told it would be shipped first thing Monday (today) and of course no shipping email. This is where the 5 star review comes in, called this store and spoke to a lady (didn't catch her name) but she said if I came down she would see what she could do. She called and got someone intelligent who said that A. I could've returned it to the store and B. Returns usually take up to two weeks but with some work I got a shipment notification and will have a (hopefully working) Xbox tomorrow that I paid extra to overnight me over a week and a half ago. While I will never order from GameStop again, this employee went above and beyond to get me taken care of

Lucky for me I had brought the whole circuit board, as a chipper fellow there offered to solder the new parts into place. How's that for service these days?! When I got home I quickly re-assembled the monitor and VOILA! It works good as new. Mountain States Electronics did for 10.00 what was going to cost me $200.00 at Walmart for a new monitor.
